Prayer Topic: *GOD WE PRAY FOR THE LEADERS OF THIS MINISTRY AND ALL THEY THAT LABOUR FOR THE GOSPEL, THAT YOUR WORD WILL BE DELIVERED AND SPREAD ACCORDING TO YOUR WILL*
Scripture:
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
Romans 15:30-32 King James Version (KJV)
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
Beloved it is a good thing to pray for your leaders and all who work in the vineyard of the Lord.
Paul requested for prayer from the churches he set up. The work of the Evangelist or anyone who spreads the Gospel or support such a course is not easy. It involves a lot of challenges:
Physical, Financial, Emotional, Mental, Social and Cultural challenges amongst many others which they mostly have no one to share with.
Beloved let us make it a point to always pray for those who labour for the Gospel and anybody else walking or operating around these people and all workers in the vineyard.
The scriptures above directs us to pray for them, let us do so.
The reason for what they do is Jesus, because in this world and in the Kingdom of God *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Let us pray for them and support them.
Prayer: Daddy we commit all church workers and they that labour for the Gospel into your hands, take care of them and use them according to your will in the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
