Topic: THE GLORY SHALL BE RESTORED
Acts 16:35-40 King James Version (KJV)
35 And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
36 And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.
37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
38 And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
39 And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city.
40 And they went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.
Beloved, the Lord does not only deliver you from the troubles, tribulations and all the toil and torture. When He does, He also restores your dignity, respect and reputation.
Beloved, in serving God Almighty or working for Him, you carry His glory and His glory gives you a certain reputation, respect and dignity. Anytime this glory is touched by someone who thought he was touching just you, no, when he touched you, he touched God Almighty and the Lord would use that person to surely restore what he has damaged no matter what it takes.
In some instances, God Almighty would do the restoration using other people or other means according to His will.
Beloved, when Paul mentioned they were Romans the people were afraid and so did all they had to do to appease Paul and his team.
Beloved, Paul mentioned he belonged to a group of humans, on earth, created by God Almighty and other humans were trembling with fear and were ready to do anything to appease them.
Beloved, if we serve God Almighty well and operate as true sons of the Most High, people would tremble with fear when they hear we are His sons and daughters. People would know the exploits He has done with us and is still doing with us, and would therefore not like to get into His bad books.
Beloved, now we don't need to mention ourselves as citizens of any earthly country but as sons and daughters of the Most High God, citizens of Heaven.
Beloved if we serve God Almighty well, people will tremble with great fear when they see us, they would place us in a different light and honour us as such.
Don't be bothered about whatever they are doing to hurt you or destroy you for the Lord shall surely restore you fullywhen your time comes.
Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Don't lose hope, don't give up the latter glory to be restored to you by God Almighty is greater than the former you carried before the damage.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, teach me your ways that I might be a better son or daughter sitting at your feet and doing your will each day. In Jesus name have I prayed. Amen.
