C. Loins covered with His truth. His Word is truth.
D. Feet prepared with the Gospel. Mark 16:15
E. Shield of Faith. Romans 12:3
F. Two Edged Sword. The Word of God.
1. Only place not covered is the back. Why, because there is no retreat with God. It is not hold the fort, but ‘Onward Christian Soldiers’
A winner says, "Lets find out." A loser says, "Nobody knows.
II. 2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
A. He equips us will all that is needed for a soldier of the cross.
III. Take up your cross daily is what He calls us to do. Jesus is our General in Chief and He goes before us. Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
A winner makes commitments; a loser makes promises.
Joshua 1:9 “ …Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” He will never leave us or forsake us.
