Topic: AGAINST ALL ODDS, OBEY GOD
Acts 5:26-32King James Version (KJV)
26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Beloved, it is better to obey God than to obey men.
Anytime you are pleasing God, the devil through men will try to stop you using various means.
Sometimes, they set rules and regulations that they know will disturb your ministry for God but they don't know it finally affects them.
Beloved, once you have made up your mind to serve God with your body, spirit and soul, there shall be attacks in various forms to stop you or destroy you.
But as Christians, we have to stand firm and continue to push the Kingdom Agenda. No matter what, the world shouldn't stop us from pushing the Kingdom Agenda.
Beloved, we are soldiers in the Kingdom and nothing will stop us from moving forward. Not the devil nor his world would.
*I believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ His only son our Lord who was conceived by the virgin Mary, born, suffered, went to the cross and shed His blood for our salvation, power and authority to overcome all things and push ahead for a successful, victorious and progressive life hear on earth and the hereafter.*
*Beloved, I Believe in the Holy Spirit who has the divine mandate to teach me, empower me and lead me in all things. For the fulfilment of God's will in my life. Amen.*
Beloved, what do you believe?
If you believe same with me then confess this with me always so we are reminded to push ahead for we are greater, better and bigger than any other thing in this world.
*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else, once we have Jesus in focus we will face all challenges and attacks fair and square and we know victory shall surely be ours.
Prayer: Father please help me to keep my focus on Jesus and may my life be centred around Him now and always. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
