Topic: THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER pt. 9 (LIVING IN JESUS BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD)
Acts 2:32-39 King James Version (KJV)
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Beloved Jesus received the promise of the Father, Precious Holy Spirit, and He poured it out on the earth, that, they that would believe on His name shall receive the promise from the Father as a gift.
Jesus is the Lord and the Messiah, The Lord God Almighty has made it so and anybody who acknowledges this and believes shall be saved and that person, would receive the promise of the Father.
Beloved, receiving the promise is receiving Jesus to live in your heart and you also being put in Him to live in Him. So that in Him you will live, exist and have your being.
Beloved, Precious Holy Spirit puts us in Jesus and keeps us in Him so that we don't live outside of Him. The Spirit keeps us and directs us so we don't slip to separate ourselves from Jesus.
Beloved, Jesus is Lord and the Almighty Father has made all His enemies His foot stool. Everything and anything that is against Jesus has been made His foot stool. Jesus is therefore Lord and King over them all.
Beloved it is in Jesus that your enemies become your foot stool. It is in Jesus that no power or principality or anything evil can lord over you and you can prevail against all of them in that when you mention the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord.
Beloved, Jesus released the Promise of the Father to us so we don't make any mistake of living outside of Him. For in Him we enjoy all the promises and good things of the Father.
Beloved, anybody living outside of Christ has missed it and will not enjoy certain blessings like that of Psalm 91 among other Psalms and scriptures of promise.
Beloved, you need to repent and seek forgiveness from Jesus, if you have not been baptised, you need to be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Your baptism is for the remission of your sins. It is then that you receive the promise of the Father and With His reception Jesus comes to live in you and He guides you to also live in Jesus and live in Jesus forever. He will prompt you when you make mistakes that will cause you to deviate from Jesus.
Beloved the promise is for you, your children, their children and many more who are far off and nowhere near us today but for sure they will definitely come to the Lords supper and also receive the promise of the Father.
Beloved, to be sustained in Christ Jesus you need Precious Holy Spirit to keep you in, nourish you in there and make sure all of you, what you are, who you are, how you are, why you are, where you are and when you are, are all taken care of in Jesus' name for His glory.
Beloved, without the Promise of the Father you would not get it right.
You need Precious Holy Spirit to get it all sorted, well and good. Receive the Spirit of God, and enjoy Him fully.
*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Allow Precious Holy Spirit to put you in Him and keep you there forever.
Prayer: Father please cause me to be obedient to Precious Holy Spirit, that I may live with Him in Christ Jesus forever as He keeps me and directs me to stay forever. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
