God is not in a hurry
1 King 6:1 “Now it came about in the four hundred and eightieth year after the sons of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.”
(Please read previous message ‘God is in it” to get better understanding about the temple that Solomon built for God) Some of us want everything to happen in our life like fast food and pizza; we get restless when we have to wait for the timing of God. Am I right? Look at the above scripture, it says, ‘ in the 480th year after the Israelites came out the Egypt, Solomon began the temple work. ‘ Which means, when God put baby Moses in the Nile river , He had this temple of Solomon in mind. When Moses stood in front of king Pharaoh requesting him to release the people of God, God had this temple in mind. When the Israelites rebelled in the wilderness, when they faced myriads of trials and sufferings, God had this temple in mind. Is anybody getting what I am trying to say? We look at the present situation and want instant noodles, but God is waiting to give you greater blessings! Glory to Jesus!
When we relocated our ministry to Hyderabad, our children were still in school, my daughter had just finished her Inter-college ( which is plus-two in Tamil Nadu) and my son had completed standard four. Pretty scary situation, it would be not fair, if I tell you that I was fully under control, not at all, I was jittery too; however, I clung to the Word of God like a life jacket. He took me step by step, God was never in a hurry to pacify and pamper me, God made me read His Word and claim His promises. I write this after nine years of serving the Lord in the city of Hyderabad where God started many major projects for us, one of which is ABIDE SCHOOL. My son is now in Bible college, my daughter had finished her B.Tech, pursuing MBA and also serving the Lord along with us in our ministry. God is never in a hurry, the finish would be glorious and victorious. Stay tuned to His ways 100%.
King Solomon completed the work of the temple, read:
2 Chronicles &:11” Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's palace, and successfully completed all that he had planned on doing in the house of the LORD and in his palace.
12 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.”
Finish what you started!
