Topic: YOUR WEAKNESS IS NOT YOUR FAILURE BUT YOUR MEANS TO STRENGTH IN JESUS
John 18:25-27 King James Version (KJV)
25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.
26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?
27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.
Beloved, there are certain things in our lives which would manifest no matter what. No matter what we ask or do the manifestation of that one thing shall surely take place.
Beloved, these things are usually things we fight and try to prevent from happening since we feel and see it to be very wrong. But they happen.
Beloved this is a clear cut situation where only grace can deliver you.
Peter the Apostle, the head of the Apostles, the rock on which the church was to be built and is built now went through this situation and denied Jesus three times.
Paul the Apostle, who wrote about two thirds of the New Testament went through this situation and for him, He prayed that the very action which He deemed so wrong and nor to be done be taken away but Jesus said, my grace is sufficient.
Beloved, you and I have our weaknesses and there are somethings that we can never stop but the grace of God is available to deal with it.
Beloved these Apostles didn't stay on the ground or wallow in self pity because they have fallen. They rose again and marched on joyfully and majestically for they have been forgiven, cleared of any wrong by the grace and mercy of God and they have lost nothing but have been kept by God.
In Jesus was their strength to rise again. Their weaknesses were not their failure and they didn't consider themselves failures because of these but rather relied fully on Jesus for strength to rise and carry on. For in our weakness His strength and or power is made perfect.
Beloved Jesus was and is still with them, He didn't leave them, He stayed with them till the end on earth and is with them now in heaven.
Don't let that wrong keep you down and think or feel it's all gone and you've lost it. Jesus is with you and shall be with you always. He knows your weaknesses but His grace is sufficient and His mercies are always available and even new every morning.
Don't stay down, rise and walk again, rise and run again, rise and do it all and do it better for God Almighty.
All you need is to have a repentant and brokenheart and go to Jesus and tell Him all of it and you shall be forgiven and made new again.
Beloved *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else, don't let the devil deceive you and keep you down. He is Jesus, listen to Him and follow Him for in Him God Almighty is well pleased.
Prayer: Father please keep me and protect me and give me understanding of your grace and mercy that I may be able to teach them to others and walk this Christian faith better than before according to your will. In Jesus name have we prayed. Amen.
