Tonight we face a serious family issue head-on, with prayers and the word of God.
Incest is defined as: “The crime of sexual intercourse or cohabitation between a man and woman or male or female who are related to each other within the degrees wherein marriage is prohibited by law.” Now you can add homosexual relationships between family members too. That’s what the world has come to.
Incest is one of the worst things that can envelop a family or individual. Because of the nature of it which is having sexual relations with your family member or close relative, it is usually a form of violent rape. Why? Because, usually, one of the partakers will resist it because of the abhorrent nature of the act.
So usually incest comes along with rape and violence. Family lines have been destroyed for eons because of this simple act of selfishness and lack of control. Nowadays you read of mothers making sex tapes with their own children, inbreeding with their own children and all what not. You see small children whose parents have left pornography carelessly around in the house and they watch it and the only person they can practice it with is their little sister or brother.
Unfortunately, victims of this callous crime are too traumatized to come forward for spiritual help, and so their lives are virtually destroyed. Parents, especially mothers have to be discerning and alert, to wrong trends in the house. A child walking with the wrong gait may have been assaulted. The trusted boyfriend who you live to take care of your child will take advantage of you because you are using him as a crutch and he knows you might turn a blind eye.
The drunkard husband or drug-using husband, the unusually close relationship, or pornography loving husband is a prime candidate. You need to be alert.
There are numerous examples of incest in the Bible. The most commonly thought-of examples are the sons/daughters of Adam and Eve (Genesis 4), Abraham marrying his half-sister Sarah (Genesis 20:12), Lot and his daughters (Genesis 19), Moses’ father Amram who married his aunt Jochebed (Exodus 6:20), and David’s son Amnon with his half-sister Tamar (2 Samuel 13). It is important to note, however, that in two of the above instances (Tamar and Lot) one of the parties involved was an unwilling participant in the incest.
It is important to distinguish between incestuous relationships prior to God commanding against them (Leviticus 18:6-18; New King James Version (NKJV)
6 ‘None of you shall approach anyone who is near of kin to him, to uncover his nakedness: I am the Lord. 7 The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness. 8 The nakedness of your father’s wife you shall not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness. 9 The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you shall not uncover. 10 The nakedness of your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, their nakedness you shall not uncover; for theirs is your own nakedness. 11 The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten by your father—she is your sister—you shall not uncover her nakedness. 12 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister; she is near of kin to your father. 13 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is near of kin to your mother. 14 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife; she is your aunt. 15 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law—she is your son’s wife—you shall not uncover her nakedness. 16 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife; it is your brother’s nakedness. 17 You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor shall you take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness. 18 Nor shall you take a woman as a rival to her sister, to uncover her nakedness while the other is alive.)
After God’s commands had been revealed, any case of incest became abominable. Until God commanded against it, it was not incest. It was just marrying a close relative.
We know that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters in addition to Abel, Cain, and Seth (Gen. 5:4), and if there was only one original family, then the first marriages had to be between brothers and sisters. Such marriages, in the beginning, were not harmful. Incest is dangerous because inherited mutant genes that produce deformed, sickly, or moronic children are more likely to find expression in children if those genes are carried by both parents. Certainly, Adam and Eve, coming from the creative hand of God, had no such mutant genes. Therefore, marriages between brothers and sisters, or nieces and nephews in the first and second generations following Adam and Eve would not have been dangerous.
It is undeniable that God allowed incest in the early centuries of humanity. Once again, if Adam and Eve were indeed the only two human beings God created, their sons and daughters would have had no other choice but to marry and reproduce with their siblings and close relatives. The second generation would have had to marry their cousins, just as after the flood the grandchildren of Noah would have had to intermarry amongst their cousins. The reason incest is so strongly discouraged in the world today is the understanding that reproduction between closely related individuals has a much higher risk of causing genetic abnormalities. In the early days of humanity, though, this was not a risk due to the fact that the human genetic code was relatively free of defects.
Many, many generations later, by the time of Moses, incest was then prohibited in the Mosaic laws undoubtedly for two reasons: first, such mutations that caused deformity had accumulated to the point where such unions were genetically dangerous, and second, it was forbidden because of the licentious practices of the Egyptians and Canaanites and as a general protection against such in society. It should also be noted that in addition to the Bible most other legal codes refuse to sanction marriages of close relatives.
It seems, then, that by the time of Moses, the human genetic code had become polluted enough that close intermarriage was no longer safe. So, God commanded against sexual relations with siblings, half-siblings, parents, and aunts/uncles. It was not until many centuries later that humanity discovered the genetic reason that incest is unsafe and unwise. While the idea of incest is disgusting and abhorrent to us today, as it should be, we have to remember why it is sinful, that is, the genetic problems. Since this was not an issue in the early centuries of humanity, what occurred between Adam and Eve’s children, Abraham and Sarah, and Amram and Jochebed, should not be viewed as incest. Again, the key point is that sexual relations between close relatives must be viewed differently pre-Law and post-Law. It did not become “incest” until God commanded against it.
Incestual Rape is also used for ritualistic purposes, especially for parents who are members of occultic groups. I gave the story of the 79-year-old woman who still goes to her son at 54, drives out the wife of 25 years from their marital bed and has her way with him for three days. This happens every 6 months to renew her covenant with the witchdoctors who set her up to make money.
The purpose of the ritual elements of the abuse seems threefold:
Rituals in some groups are part of a shared belief or worship system into which the victim is being indoctrinated;
Rituals are used to intimidate victims into silence;
Ritual elements (e.g., devil worship, animal or human sacrifice) seem so unbelievable to those unfamiliar with these crimes that these elements detract from the credibility of the victims and make prosecution of the crimes very difficult.
Many victims are children under the age of six who suffer the most severe and longstanding emotional damage from the abuse. These young victims are particularly susceptible to being terrorized and indoctrinated into the abusers' belief system. During and even long after the abuse victims live in a state of terror and dissociation and suffer from the impact of mind control techniques. All this makes the initial disclosures of abuse exceedingly difficult and can make each subsequent disclosure a terrifying and painful experience.
Ritual abuse is known to occur as an integral part of the life of some families in which one or both parents participate in conjunction with the extended family or other groups. These groups are typically satanic in their symbols and beliefs. Children in these settings are severely abused on an ongoing basis with little time during which they are safe from abuse. The results are devastating.
Steps To Deliverance
There are six basic steps to deliverance from rape situations;
1. Identify the issues that have come up with you emotionally and physically as a result of the Incest.
2. Forgive yourself and your assailants, pray and get yourself right with God.
3. Break the curses and soul ties on you and your descendants as a result of the Incest.
4. Cast out your demons; it is always more advisable to allow a knowledgeable minister of deliverance help you to carry this out.
5. Pray for healing for your soul and body.
6. Discipline your life by changing your way of thinking and acting.
Every form of healing starts with forgiveness. The Lord will not answer prayers if the victim has not forgiven the assailant.
Confessional Prayer of Forgiveness
When I was a child or adult, whether male or female, I forgive those who have committed sexual harassment, abuse, assault and violence against me, and have given me a sexually transmitted disease. I forgive those who have committed domestic violence against me by intimidation and physical abuse, especially as a woman. I forgive those for unwanted, deliberate and repeated sexual using sexually suggestive objects, signs, magazines, and pictures; unlawful sex discrimination and threats; forcible sexual activity, rape, fondling, incest, molestation, exhibitionism, sodomy, childhood pornography and prostitution; bribery, seductive behavior, indecent exposure; sexual touching, fondling and game playing; oral, anal and vaginal intercourse; sexual contact without consent; incest, attempted rape and unwanted sexual touch. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Prayers to Cast Out Demon Spirits
My Lord, Master, and Savior in the name of Jesus, I command the following unclean spirits to manifest, identify and reveal themselves. I command the families of sexual harassment, abuse, assault, and violence to come out as your name is called.
1. Let the power of God destroy any foundation of incest in my dream life and that of my family in Jesus’ name.
2. The foundation of incest in my father and mother’s lineage collapse totally in Jesus’ name.
3. Let the habitation incest in my dream life and that of my family become desolate in Jesus’ name.
4. Every throne of incest inhabiting the dream life of my family is dismantled by fire in Jesus’ name.
5. Every stronghold of incest inhabiting the dream life of my life is rendered useless in Jesus’ name.
6. Communication gadgets of incest in my dream life and that of my family in be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
7. Altars of INCEST in my life and that of my family be broken in Jesus’ name.
8. I repent of all the sins of my ancestors and ask God to blot them out with the Blood of Jesus.
9. I cancel the activities of incest in my life and my lineage in Jesus name.
10. Every effect of parental wickedness on my life, be neutralized now in the name of Jesus. Amen.
11. Activities of incest over my dream life be paralyzed in the name of Jesus.
12. Powers sponsoring incest in my bloodline, die without remedy in Jesus’ name.
13. Powers sponsoring incest in the mind of my children die without remedy in Jesus’ name.
14. I reverse all the effects and consequences of incest afflicting me unconsciously in Jesus’ name.
