'TOGETHER WITH CHRIST'
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Here are 3 steps for us to help answer the prayer of Jesus.
I. Coming together is a beginning. (love, forgiveness etc.)
The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.
Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look at what they can do when they stick together.
II. Keeping together is progress. (pressing toward the mark)
Your goal is to make progress every day of your life.
Micah 6:8 (KJV) He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
III. Working together is success. (take up the cross daily with Jesus)
There are two ways of being united -- one is by being frozen together, and the other is by being melted together. What Christians need is to be united in brotherly love, and then they may expect to have power.
John Wesley said: I want the whole Christ for my Savior, the whole Bible for my book, the whole Church for my fellowship, and the whole world for my mission field.
