to worship a BIG GOD in 2018!
It is important to Dream!
Our Dreams give us energy and thrust to live life!
A good dream can put pep in your step!
A good dream can cause you to see past your problems and into the possibilities of your future!
A good dream will enable you to overcome doubt, fear, depression, low self esteem, pain, and move forward with joy, zest and zeal toward your future!
Dreams are a powerful gift from GOD to show us the future!
Let us know the unknown!
Reassure us that GOD has not forgotten us!
Let us look take a look at a real God Dreamer! Joseph!
A young man who had what his family would consider extreme dreams!
Sometimes we let our circumstances hold us back from our dreams!
We allow our families and friends to kill, stall, or stop us from dreaming!
I want to encourage you as you go into 2018 not to let anyone hinder your dreams!
In this series we want to help you learn how GOD uses Dreams to help move you into your destiny and purpose!
We want to help you have patience, perseverance, and power to live your dream!
We want to inspire you to follow your dreams!
If you know what the enemy is trying to do, you can cut him off at the pass!
John 10:10
10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly
Now it is important to know up front that the enemy wants to kill your dream!
The enemy wants to destroy your hope for 2018 that GOD have in store for you!
The enemy wants to steal the blessing God has promised you in your dreams!
With the Word of GOD ….
You can stomp him under your feet!
You can overcome all his tricks and wicked wiles!
WE are over comers!
1 John 4:4
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
Tell Someone I have overcome too much in 2017 to give up now!
After all God has brought me through I know I am an over comer!
I know I am a child of the King
I know the favor of GOD is upon me!
I know that I am chosen
A Royal priest head..
WE are the head and not the tail!
Because Jesus Christ has been born into the World…
We can have life… and we can have it more abundantly! Hallelujah!
Some of us want our families to be perfect! Loving, and supportive in all we do!
Well I suggest you quit watching too much TV..
Most families are not like that!
Most families are full of issues..
Most dreams are killed by family members!
Because the enemy knows that’s the best way to get into your head and Heart!
As we look at how God used dreams to reveal himself to us,
it is important that you know a little bit about the background of the people He used!
They were some messed up deceitful people! They had a spirit of lying and deceit that just kept
Getting passed on from generation to generation..
Perhaps some body listening to me has given up on GOD because you feel like you ar eliving under a generational curse!
I want you to know GOD is a curse breaker!
He cast demons out of families!
He can work HIS plan in spite of demons all around you!
You can be in the midst of deceitful people and GOD can still bless you and use you!
If you trust GOD..
Your family and friends can not stop GOD from using you!
God began to reveal His Story to us through Abraham, Isaac and then Jacob!
WE want to pick up with Issac he was deceiver!
Look at
Gen 26:7
7When the men of that place asked him about his wife, he said, “She is my sister,” because he was afraid to say, “She is my wife.” He thought, “The men of this place might kill me on account of Rebekah, because she is beautiful.”
8When Isaac had been there a long time, Abimelek king of the Philistines looked down from a window and saw Isaac caressing his wife Rebekah. 9So Abimelek summoned Isaac and said, “She is really your wife! Why did you say, ‘She is my sister’?”
Isaac answered him, “Because I thought I might lose my life on account of her.”
10Then Abimelek said, “What is this you have done to us? One of the men might well have slept with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us.”
He was scared and he lied and deceived them about his wife .. said she was his sister rather than his wife..
If you are going to follow GOD and please his.. God has a plan..
You do not need to lie and deceive to help GOD with his plan..
God has already prepared the people in your path with the right heart and right mind
Just trust GOD
The spirit of deception was not only on Isaac but it also fell upon Rebecca and Jacob..
WE have to be careful about want spirits we let loose in our house and upon our children!
So now we have Isaac in his old age, blind and weak… and HIS Wife and Son Jacob
Get together to deceive him…
Wow what you sow you reap..
Gen 27:11
11Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “But my brother Esau is a hairy man while I have smooth skin. 12What if my father touches me? I would appear to be tricking him and would bring down a curse on myself rather than a blessing.”
13His mother said to him, “My son, let the curse fall on me. Just do what I say; go and get them for me.”
So Mother and Son working together to deceive the father and the brother for the blessing!
The spirit of Deceit runs deep.. it can cause families to become destroyed!
I wanted you to see this spirit of deceit so you can see how dangerous it is
And how it thrives from generation to generation if you don’t cast it out!
So when Esau got back and found out what his moma and brother had done….
Gen 27
35But he said, “Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.”
So now because of the Spirit of deceit that’s running wild in the family..
You got one brother ready to kill the other brother..
Moma still lying to sick daddy on his death bed…..
Gen 27
41Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, “The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”
42When Rebekah was told what her older son Esau had said, she sent for her younger son Jacob and said to him, “Your brother Esau is planning to avenge himself by killing you. 43Now then, my son, do what I say: Flee at once to my brother Laban in Harran. 44Stay with him for a while until your brother’s fury subsides. 45When your brother is no longer angry with you and forgets what you did to him, I’ll send word for you to come back from there. Why should I lose both of you in one day?”
46Then Rebekah said to Isaac, “I’m disgusted with living because of these Hittite women. If Jacob takes a wife from among the women of this land, from Hittite women like these, my life will not be worth living.”
So now this is the back ground of the family of Extreme Dreamers that the LORD has called and shown
Even though they have the promises of Abraham upon them .. they are still acting like one jacked up messed up family!
There is no perfect family!
WE all got some issues
Some folk just hide them better than others!
You don’t have to walk around in shame with your head hanging down..
Just because you have some jacked up family members … we all got some… some of us jacked up!
So Jacob left … running from His older brother who wanted to kill him..
And being obedient to his parents..
But God was working his plan all along…
Somebody listening to me been running scared in 2017 .. but GOD was still working his plan
Because here you are still serving HIM!
Sometimes GOD has to chase you from something to get you to what he has for you!
Because you would never just get up and go on your own!
God has got to get you away .. and by yourself to reveal His dream to you… you can’t dream with some body else… your dream is just for you…
You Can tell someone else you dream… but only you can dream it!
Jacob’s Dream at Bethel
10Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Harran. 11When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep.
Some folk got to be in over flow and increase before they can hear from GOD.. Some folk got to have a pocket full of money and be in the best hotel.. but God does his best speaking when you have the least.. all alone with a rock for a pillow.. God Speaks… laying on the ground.. GOD Speaks.. head between a hard place and a ROCK God speaks..
12He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13There above itc stood the LORD, and he said: “I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.
Notice GOD did not expect him to live out the dream of his father and his grandfather.. but GOD gave him his own dream! If you been waiting for God to manifest someone else’s dream … It Time for you to have your own Extreme Dream in 2018! The enemy might ROB them, kill them, destroy them, you better trust GOD for youself!
14Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.d 15I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
God is faithful! God will keep HIS promises! When GOD gives you an extreme dream HE has the power to see it through!
16When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” 17He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”
A lot of times we are looking for GOD and GOD is right here!
18Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it. 19He called that place Bethel,e though the city used to be called Luz.
We should take time to name the places we meet GOD face to face!
Name the places and times when GOD shows up mighty in your life!
Name the minutes when your healing came..
Name the place where your deliverance came..
20Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear 21so that I return safely to my father’s household, then the LORDf will be my God 22andg this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.”
Notice the worship, the vow, the gift!
He simply says if GOD is faithful I will
Who can take that VOW today..
If God is faithful I will
If God watches over my family I will
If God keeps me I will
Gen 29
1Then Jacob continued on his journey and came to the land of the eastern peoples. 2There he saw a well in the open country, with three flocks of sheep lying near it because the flocks were watered from that well. The stone over the mouth of the well was large. 3When all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone away from the well’s mouth and water the sheep. Then they would return the stone to its place over the mouth of the well.
God will lead you to the right place at the right time!
He will guide your foot steps!
4Jacob asked the shepherds, “My brothers, where are you from?”
“We’re from Harran,” they replied.
5He said to them, “Do you know Laban, Nahor’s grandson?”
“Yes, we know him,” they answered.
The people in your path will have the answers you need!
6Then Jacob asked them, “Is he well?”
“Yes, he is,” they said, “and here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep.”
He had the right daughter show up at the right time… love at first sight!
7“Look,” he said, “the sun is still high; it is not time for the flocks to be gathered. Water the sheep and take them back to pasture.”
Here look quick almost everybody in here missed this..
Here is that old trickery stuff .. the boy is trying to get rid of them.. but GOD has a plan..
Yall gone back to work …lol
8“We can’t,” they replied, “until all the flocks are gathered and the stone has been rolled away from the mouth of the well. Then we will water the sheep.”
9While he was still talking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherd. 10When Jacob saw Rachel daughter of his uncle Laban, and Laban’s sheep, he went over and rolled the stone away from the mouth of the well and watered his uncle’s sheep. 11Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep aloud. 12He had told Rachel that he was a relative of her father and a son of Rebekah. So she ran and told her father.
13As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he hurried to meet him. He embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his home, and there Jacob told him all these things. 14Then Laban said to him, “You are my own flesh and blood.”
You are GOD’s Flesh and Blood!
He gHave His Son Jesus Christ to die on Calvary just for you!
Don’t dare try to have an extreme Dream in 2018 with GOD in your midst!
Do you have a relationship with HIM?
Do you know him?
