LifeWay Research conducted a study focusing on evangelical 'belief' versus evangelical 'self-identification' Nov. 10-12, 2017.

The Bible is the highest authority for what I believe.

*Fifteen percent of Americans are evangelicals by belief, according to LifeWay Research. By contrast, 24 percent of Americans self-identify as evangelicals.
As Christians, we are ‘not’ fighting a losing battle, but we ‘are’ fighting an uphill battle, only having limited time & opportunity to share God’s Good News in Christ with our world!

“Seventy Weeks”(of years)—
Lev. 25:8—“‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; & the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.”
This describes an overall 490 yr. period of seventy years X(times) seven years—clarified in :25-27. Argumentation:
Lk. 12:4-7—“And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, & after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Acts 17:30-31—“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained[Jesus]. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

‘God’s people’ are intimately tied to the “holy city.”
The “city” is Jerusalem.
The timeframe of 70 weeks of years is built around the desire of God to operate “for” His & Daniel’s(“your”) people. The people as well as the holy city(Jerusalem) are key to the fulfillment of the seventy weeks.
God’s people Israel, are not thrown out with the onset of the Church age. They will be directly reconnected to God’s plan thru the manifestation of Messiah Jesus.

Rom. 9:6-8—“But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. Rev. 21:1-3—“Now I saw a new heaven & a new earth, for the first heaven & the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, & He will dwell with them, & they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them & be their God.”

:24c—“Seventy weeks are determined For your people & for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision & prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.
“Transgress”(English)=To infringe or go beyond the bounds of(a moral principle or other established standard of behavior). Transgression describes rebellion!
There will be no more ‘crossing the line’ as it were regarding that which God has determined. “Transgression” itself will be eradicated! No more will men willingly step over the sure boundaries which God has set. This describes an “establishment of an entirely new order on earth.”—D. Guzik
Though “transgression” against God has not ceased completely with the Advent of Jesus, His arrival decidedly set up the specific means by/thru which “transgression”(rebellion) can now & will be “finished” in the end time!

The Ten Commandments are a statement of the tendency for mankind to Infringe upon God’s desire. Such infringement/“transgression” against God is similarly experienced all man’s relationships!
Ex. 20:1-17—“And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.
