VERY BRIEFLY WITH THE HELP OF THE LORD AND THE GUIDIANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS

VERY BRIEFLY I WANT TO REASON WITH YOU ON THE THOUGHT

[GOD`S PRECIOUS LOVE]

MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS

AS RESSURECTION SUNDAY APPROACHES

A RELEVANT QUESTION FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST

IS DO WE REALLY KNOW HOW MUCH GOD REALLY LOVES US

AND THE BEST SUMMARIZATION OF GOD`S LOVE THAT WE WILL EVER HAVE

IS THE GIFT OF HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRIST

AND BECAUSE WE HEARD THE STORY OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST SO MUCH

THAT IT`S REHEARSAL HAS BECOME A ROUTINE INSTEAD OF A REVELATION

BECAUSE WE ARE LIVING IN A DAY AND TIME

WHERE MANY HAS ALLOWED IT`S FAMILIARITY TO DILUTE THE POWER THAT IS AVAILABLE TO US AS CHILDREN OF GOD

BUT IT`S IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT

THE POWER OF THE CROSS WILL NEVER BE COMPROMISED -DECREASED OR AFFECTED BY OUR TRIVIALIZATION OF THE CROSS

AND AS A RESULT MANY OF US FAIL TO REALIZE HOW POWERFUL JESUS REALLY IS

AND WHEN WE AS CHILDREN OF GOD FAIL TO REALIZE HOW POWERFUL JESUS IS

WE NEGLECT THE POWER WE HAVE THROUGH HIM

AND THAT’S MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS

IS A TRICK OF THE ENEMY

BECAUSE SATAN KNOWS …….I SAY SATAN KNOWS

THAT HE CANNOT CHANGE WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS

AND HE WANT US AS BELIEVERS TO UNDERESTIMATE THE REDEMPTIVE WORK OF THE CROSS

SO THAT WE WILL NEVER FULFILL OUR POWERFUL PURPOSE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

IN OTHER WORDS

SATAN KNOWS HE CANNOT UNSAVE YOU ONCE ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR OF YOUR LIFE

INSTEAD HE WANTS US TO BE SO ACCUSTOMED TO THE CROSS THAT WE IGNORE THE POWER THEREIN

AND AS A RESULT YOU BCOMES A SAVED BUT SILENT SAINT

ONE WHO KNOWS THE REDEMPTIVE STORY BUT WILL RECEIVE THE REVELATION OF GOD`S GLORY IN THE REDEMPTIVE STORY

IN OTHER WORD YOU HAVE THE POTENTIAL AND THE PROMISE

BUT YOU HAVE REGULATED YOURSELF TO THE PEW

POSSESSING NO POWER—NO PURPOSE AS WELL NO PRAISE

.BUT IT`S THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

THAT I STAND THIS MORNING/EVENING

TO CHALLENGE OUR CONDITION OF COMPLACENCY WITH THE CROSS

THAT SEEKS TO CIRCUMVENT OUR CONNECTION WITH THE RISEN CHRIST

IN THE TEXT

John 1:1 states, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was

God.

" In order to fully understand this scripture, let's isolate the parts:

1. In the beginning was the Word

2. and the Word was with God

3. and the Word was God

Now let us examine this scripture through the lens of John 1:14:

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth." This text clearly refers to Jesus as the "Word made flesh."

Now if we take this definition and apply it to John 1:1, we get the following truths:

1. In the beginning was Jesus

2. and Jesus was with God

3. and Jesus was God

AND I KNOW SOME OF YOU ARE ASKING ?

WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE CROSS

AND MY ANSWER IS EVERYTHING

BECAUSE THIS EXAMINATION CLEARLY REVEALS TO US 2 KEY THINGS ABOUT JESUS DECISION TO ENDURE THE CROSS

******************************************************************

WELL IT 1ST SHOWS JESUS MOTIVATION

FOR THE TEXT SAYS

THAT JESUS WAS WITH GOD IN THE BEGINNING FROM CREATION AND THAT HE DWELT AMONG HUMANITY WHILE STILL BEING GOD

AND HE DID IT BECAUSE OF HIS PRECIOUS LOVE FOR US

IN OTHER WORD HE DID`NT DO BECAUSE HE WAS SEEKING A PROMOTION

BECAUSE THERE IS NO ELEVATION TO A HIGHER LEVEL FOR GOD

BECAUSE HE IS GOD

JESUS DID`NT DO IT FOR A INCREASE IN SALARY OR BENEFITS

BECAUSE HE OWNS EVERYTHING

BUT HE DID IT BECAUSE HE LOVE

I THANK JOHN SAYS IT BEST IN John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

************************************************************

WELL NOT ONLY DOES THE TEXT REVEALS TO US JESUS MOTIVATION

BUT THE TEXT ALSO GIVES US DIVINE A DIVINE REVELATION OF JESUS MENTALITY

BECAUSE HE SHOWS US A GLIMPSE OF HIS PRECIOUS LOVE AND HOW MUCH HE LOVES US

BECAUSE HE LEFT THE GLORY AND GRANDEUR OF HEAVEN TO COME EARTH SHAME AND GIVE HIS LIFE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO TRIED TO KILL HIM

HE SAW SOMETHING IN US THAT WE DID`NT SEE IN OURSELVES

HE SAW SOMETHING SO GREAT THAT HE WAS WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF IT COMING TO PASS

IN OTHER WORDS MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS

HE DIED NOT ONLY FOR OUR PAIN BUT ALSO FOR OUR POTENTIAL

HE SAW FROM HEAVENS GLORY WHAT WE COULD BE

AND WAS WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIS LIFE TO MAKE US BETTER

AND TO REDEEM US TO AND ALL LOVING GOD

Perhaps a major reason is because we are walking by sight instead of faith.

Much of the Body of Christ is consumed with visual stimulation.

We are moved and controlled by what we see.

As a result we have forsaken the power of faith in God's Word.

For example,

many saved young people I talk to have told me, "the people around me have told me I'll never be anything.

And nobody from my neighborhood has made it out of here."

And I tell them, don't be controlled by what you see in the natural.

If you could see your promise, you would not need faith to get there.

But the simple fact that there are trials on the way means that God is doing something in you

And God does not waste trials on people He cannot use.

Contrary to what your situations and spectators say, you will overcome: "Ye are of God . . . and ye shall overcome them:

because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Don't let your destiny be dictated by haters.

The world looks at us and perceives weakness.

Jesus looked at us and saw purpose, potential, and power.

Then, He died to make sure we had the opportunity to see it too.

So whose report will you believe?

Finally, we must be conscious of the consequences of trivializing the familiar.

There are so many revelations of His love, grace, and mercy that Christ desires to share with us.

Christ's impact is so universal that He can speak in and through even the menial and mundane workings of our everyday lives.

However, if we close our eyes to the familiar because we "know" it so well,

we will miss the wealth of blessings that God has sent to us through that avenue.

Yet if we search intently for His revelation, even in what we know, we will discover how little we actually do know.

It is then we also discover that this is precisely the point where He can teach us.

And we will be
