Ezekiel 37:1-10& vs14
Zec 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
*Hand of the Lord upon me: This means taught, led, guided, protected, empowered, (it is a wonderful thing to know Gods hand is on your life.
*Carried out in the Spirit: If we are going to see the glory of God revealed we are going to have to get out of the flesh realm over into the spirit realm.
This is the reason why we don’t see more glory and more power, this is the reason why we experience so little of the demonstration and the manifestation of the Power of God.
It is because God does his work by the Power of the Holy Spirit and the only way to participate with him is to get into the spirit.
It’s not by might nor by power but by my spirit sayeth the Lord.
The spirit is not just the feeling of God touching you, or even God moving inside of you, by the HolyGhost: the spirit is speaking of the realm, and of the dimension and of the environment of God.
John said: I was in the Spirit on the Lords day: (When John got in the Spirit (In the God dimension, that’s when he began to see the glory of God, he saw the Lord with feet like brass as though they had been burned in a furnace, he saw his eyes as though they burned with fire.
He saw the throne, he saw and heard the angels, he saw the four and twenty elders, he saw the altar of God.
To see what John saw: We have to be where he was when he saw it, (In The Spirit).
Ezekial was in the Spirit: This was not the first time Ezekial was in the Spirit.
Ezek 1: 3 and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
This is when Ezekiel saw the great whirlwind of fire, and the living creatures, and he saw the throne of God, and he saw the appearance of a man who was on fire, from his loins upward, and from his loins downward as the appearance of brightness as the color of amber.
I know this is going to sound a little crazy, but that’s where we belong, that’s our environment, (I’m not talking about dying and going to heaven) I’m talking about living in the realms of the glory of God.
Ga 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Ga 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Don’t misunderstand me: I’m not insinuating that we should all walk around seeing angels everywhere, and hearing voices and trumpets and things like that, and that if you’re not experiencing that then you’re not spiritual.
(No I’m not saying that at all)
What I’m saying is that to experience the operation of the Spirit, we must be full of the Spirit and walking in the Spirit.
In other words: The realm of the glory of Gods presence must become more important to us than this flesh realm.
Healing, deliverance, Miracles, signs and wonders all emanate from the glory realm, or I could simplify it by saying (The Kingdom realm).
All supernatural activity of the Spirit of God belongs to the Kingdom of God.
Jesus revealed to us that Power of the devil, or power to destroy the works of the devil, or power to cast out devils was the direct result of the Kingdom of God being present.
Mt 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
The Kingdom is the Principle (The Spirit of God is the Power).
We may have the principle
We may talk about the kingdom, sing about the kingdom, preach and teach about the kingdom, but principle is not enough.
Principle won’t heal the sick, Principle won’t deliver the bound and the oppressed, and principle won’t set the captives free.
Principle is important: Principle is the foundation on which we stand, principle stabilizes us, and holds us in the right place.
Principle is truth (But Just the Knowledge of truth is not enough).
You can know all the truth about healing and live all your life sick
You can know all the truth about salvation, and still go to an eternal hell.
But the Kingdom of God is both: Principle and Power
1Co 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
1Th 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, (Not in principle or truth only) but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jude knew by the Spirit that the time would come when the body of Christ would slip into a state of complacency that it would begin to settle into a powerless faith, a faith without substance, a faith that consisted only of words, and ideas, and philosophies.
This is a head faith: It’s a dead faith, it’s a faith that nods it’s head that the bible is true, but never presses in to experience it personally.
Everything the bible says is ours is ours by right of inheritance, but even though you hold the title deed to a property, you will never benefit from it until you press your claim and take possession of it.
God has willed his power to the church, it’s our inheritance (The power of the HolySpirit) the gifts of the Spirit, signs, wonders, miracles, healing, deliverance, visions, dreams, supernatural visitations, and manifestations, demonstrations and activities of the power of God in us and through us.
But the majority of the Church World is satisfied just with the Principle, satisfied to know it’s true, just happy to know that it’s there, and that it belongs to us by inheritance.
Jude warned us to not accept that powerless message, and not be deceived, and to contend for the original faith that the early church had which was a vital living faith that produced the miraculous, (signs and wonders, and healing and deliverance).
I am thankful for the Word of Faith movement: I learned a lot from the word of faith movement. (The problem with much of the word of faith movement, is it became only a movement about the word of faith).
The problem with that is: Faith that doesn’t produce or bring manifestation, is just head faith. (and dead faith).
I’m not pointing fingers at anybody because I fell into that word trap (I fell into the trap of believing that because I knew it I had it)
Or because I could quote it, that I had it.
The problem with that is: You lie to yourself, It makes a very comfortable cushion, and you begin to believe that you have it just because you say you have it.
But the truth is: If we can’t manifest it and demonstrate it, (then we don’t really have it, we just have a profession, and there’s a big difference between profession and possession.
Jesus said: When He cast out devils it was (Principle and Power) It was word and Power.
Paul said: The Kingdom is not word only (Yes it is in word, It is in principle, it is in knowledge of the truth) But that principle must produce power or it’s dead.
In other words: If I have the Kingdom Principle but I don’t have the Kingdom Power, then all I have is words. (Because the Kingdom of God is only present in Power).
Wherever the Kingdom of God is truly present there is a manifestation of power, (In other words, it produces what it speaks of).
Ro 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Wherever the Kingdom of God is present there will be (righteousness, peace, and Joy in the HolyGhost.
The faith that glorifies God and edifies the church is that faith in God (The principle that walks hand in hand with the Power of God) The Holy Ghost.
Set me down in the midst of a valley full of bones
Now we see How God feels about the Kingdom:
He believes that His Kingdom in you is greater than all the sickness, and disease, and bondage and oppression that is around you.
Jesus said: Lu 17:21 Behold The Kingdom of God is in you.
Jn 4:4 said: Ye are of God little children and greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
So I prophesied as I was Commanded
7. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
Notice: That
1. I Prophesied (Principle, word, truth)
good things happened, the bones came together, things got shook up, there was some noise, and sinews and flesh came upon them and the skin covered them.
But there was no breath in them
In other words: Principle, truth, knowledge, did some good things
1. It brought them together, it shook them loose from some stuff, it made them look good.
But there was no breath in them:
In other words: (They were dead) still dead, pretty but dead, all put together but dead, smelling good, but dead, looking good but dead.
Had on a suit and tie but dead, had their favorite pew but dead, sang in the choir but dead, payed their tithes but dead.
Let me say it like this:
Principled but dead
Knowledgeable but dead
Biblical but dead
I don’t want to sound mean: In fact I am a little reluctant even to say this because it hits pretty close to home for me.
But I have to say it: The devil is not afraid of Pretty bones
He doesn’t care how many scriptures you can quote
He doesn’t care how programmed we are
He doesn’t care that we got all dressed up and we smell good.
None of that bothers him because dead is still dead.
You can have the biggest church in town and be dead
You can have the best praise and worship leaders in the county and be dead
You can have the most eloquent preacher in the country and be dead
You can have all the doctrines of the church memorized and still be dead.
If all we have is principle we’re dead
If I teach on the gifts of the spirit for 6 weeks, but we never have a manifestation of the gifts (we’re dead)
If I teach on divine healing for 6 weeks and we get all excited about the promises but nobody gets healed (we’re dead)
If I preach and teach about the HolyGhost and his Power and his ministry, and no one gets baptized, and no one gets refilled, and no one gets on fire, (we’re dead)
When the Kingdom of God is Present: There is manifestation
Lu 5:17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
That’s the Kingdom: Principle and Power
(He was teaching) = The word =principle
(The Power of the Lord was present to Heal).
There was principle in the valley and the principle had done some good (But there was no life).
I want to say this in love: We have many principled churches that have great gatherings, and community service, and outreaches, and all of these are good and right.
But sad to say: We have very few Power churches.
We need both: We need all the community services, and outreaches, and ministries, that bring the community together.
But we also need the Power of God.
Ezekial: You’re not finished (The Job is only half done)
Ezekial: If these bones don’t experience the Power you’ve only given them half the message.
Eze 37:9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
That’s where we’re at: Come Holy Spirit (Come mighty power of God) Come in power, come in demonstration, come in manifestation.
Heal the sick, deliver the bound and the oppressed, set the captives free, break every yoke, destroy every bondage, every habit, every addiction, cause the lame to walk and the blind to see.
Open deaf ears.
Work miracles and wonders and signs among us.
Fill the Hungry: Send the Fire, baptize us with Power.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
I prophesy that this is what is coming to the body of Christ (There is a mighty wind of God that is coming to the church) And many that have been satisfied just to have a principle, and just to have knowledge of a truth.
Are not going to be satisfied anymore: And they’re going to cry out for the power of God, the breath of God, the wind, (The power of the Holy Ghost) and the wind of God, (The anointing and the power of the HolySpirit) Is getting ready to hit churches, and God is going to give us another book of Acts Revival before this thing is done.
Because we are never going to reach this world, with a powerless gospel.
I don’t blame people for not wanting to go to a dead church, I don’t either
And I don’t blame people for not believing our message, if there is no evidence or power to back it up..
Ac 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Jesus did not say we would receive: Principles, and knowledge, and understanding (That’s important) but he said we would receive (Power).
Principle and knowledge can sit on a shelf and gather dust but Power is action, power changes things, power heals, power delivers, power makes us dangerous to hell.
Mk 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Lu 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
I feel in my spirit that this is the word for the hour to the church: Maybe you can be a good Baptist and a good presbretyrian, and a good Methodist, with principle alone.
But you can’t be a good Pentecostal without Power
In fact we can’t even truly claim the title of Pentecost without power (It’s the Power that makes us Pentecostal.
It’s the Power that filled that upper room and filled a 120 disciples, and set upon them with tongues of fire, and then set their tongues on fire.
There had to be more to Ezekiels message than words, There had to be breath, there had to be wind, there had to be Power.
It was the wind, (The Power that raised those bones to life).
It’s the Power that will bring our churches back to life.
People are turning to the occult by the thousands, and many of them have been religious, but they weren’t satisfied by religion they want power, and the devil offers them power.
But the truth is: All he offers them is counterfeit, it’s an imitation, and a simulation of the real thing.
The real thing is the Power of the HolyGhost. (The question is not) is The HolyGhost the Power? (The question is: Do we have the Power or is all we have a profession, or the principle, or the knowledge of the Power?
I believe God is stirring his church: I believe there is a hunger coming back to the church, for Apostolic anointing and Apostolic power like The Apostles had in the book of Acts.
And I believe The church is once again be the driving force in the earth, and we are going to see a Revival of The supernatural Power of God in his church.
And I’m praying that it will start right here with Me ( and with You).
