• The Psalmist has God Bumps because they have acknowledged where they were and where they are now [10] For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. [11] You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. [12] You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance. …
• God Bumps happen when we encounter something greater than ourselves
• God Bumps happen when we acknowledge what He did 4Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, 5But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 7He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.B 9He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
