Romans 8:31 (Amplified Bible)

What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

Romans 8:31 (New King James Version)

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

A. GOD is for us.

"What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us,"

Genesis 15:1 (Amplified Bible)

AFTER THESE things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great.

Numbers 14:9 (Amplified Bible)

Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defense and the shadow [of protection] is removed from over them, but the Lord is with us. Fear them not.

Deuteronomy 33:29 (Amplified Bible)

Happy are you, O Israel, and blessing is yours! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the Shield of your help, the Sword that exalts you! Your enemies shall come fawning and cringing, and submit feigned obedience to you, and you shall march on their high places.

Joshua 10:42 (Amplified Bible)

Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

The LORD GOD will fight for me and I don't need to move or do anything but obey and follow His WORDS. I will march or conquer the high places of my enemies. An example of this is when Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians, as symbolical move, the princes started to sit in the Middle Gate and at a closer look using Contemporary English version it means "TO SHOW THEY WERE IN CONTROL OF THE CITY". Wow, what a privelege to serve the LORD of lords and KING of kings. JESUS CHRIST has given me the city to control it and in exchange my response is to give it to the LORD JESUS, their souls.

Jeremiah 39:3 (Amplified Bible)

[When Jerusalem was taken] all the princes of the king of Babylon came in and sat in the Middle Gate: Nergal-sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim [the Rabsaris] a chief of the eunuchs, and Nergal-sharezer [II, the Rabmag] a chief of the magicians, with all the rest of the officials of the king of Babylon.

Jeremiah 39:1 (Contemporary English version)

In the tenth month of the ninth year that Zedekiah was king of Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonian army began their attack on Jerusalem. They kept the city surrounded for a year and a half. Then, on the ninth day of the fourth month of the eleventh year that Zedekiah was king, they broke through the city walls. After Jerusalem was captured, Nebuchadnezzar's highest officials, including Nebo Sarsechim and Nergal Sharezer from Simmagir, took their places at Middle Gate TO SHOW THEY WERE IN CONTROL OF THE CITY.

B. Who can be against me?

"who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?"

John 10:28-30 (Amplified Bible)

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand.

My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand.

I and the Father are One.

Jeremiah 20:11 (Amplified Bible)

But the Lord is with me as a mighty and terrible One; therefore my persecutors will stumble, and they will not overcome [me]. They will be utterly put to shame, for they will not deal wisely or prosper [in their schemes]; their eternal dishonor will never be forgotten.

1 John 4:4 (Amplified Bible)

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

1 John 5:4 (Amplified Bible)

For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.

Jeremiah 1:19 (Amplified Bible)

And they shall fight against you, but they shall not [finally] prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you.

Isaiah 54:17 (Amplified Bible)

But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.

Isaiah 50:7-9 (Amplified Bible)

For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

He is near Who declares Me in the right. Who will contend with Me? Let us stand forth together! Who is My adversary? Let him come near to Me.

Behold, the Lord God will help Me; who is he who will condemn Me? Behold, they all will wax old and be worn out as a garment; the moth will eat them up.

Psalms 84:11-12 (Amplified Bible)

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!

Psalms 118:6 (Amplified Bible)

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

Psalms 56:4 (Amplified Bible)

By [the help of] God I will praise His word; on God I lean, rely, and confidently put my trust; I will not fear. What can man, who is flesh, do to me?

Psalms 56:11 (Amplified Bible)

In God have I put my trust and confident reliance; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Psalms 46:7 (Amplified Bible)

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our Fortress and High Tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Psalms 46:11 (Amplified Bible)

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

JESUS CHRIST is for me and not against me. All my enemies are now defeated because they have no protection, the protection they are thinking is not on them, but on me as well because they don't have the LORD JESUS CHRIST in their hearts.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are for me and who can be against me.
