We have been looking at starting here of the period of time we might refer to as eternity future. It is a time in which God will make all things new.
Rev 22:1-2 (NASB) “Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

First we see the RIVER of the water of life proceeding out of the throne of God. The river is of clear crystal water. Second we see the TREE OF LIFE. Notice that this tree is singular tree not group of trees. It is a singular tree standing in the midst of the street. It bears twelve kinds of fruit – a different fruit will ripen every month. It’s leaves are for the healing of the nations.
The first time we saw the tree of life it was in the Garden of Eden – now it shows up again. But because of the fall of man – there has been no access to the Tree of Life until now.
Rev 22:3-4 (NASB) “There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.”

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
Rev 22:5 (NASB) “And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.”
