ILLUMINATE THE WORLD
Main text- Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden”
“let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven”….Matthew 5:16
Alleluia I am a light. Jesus spoke unto them, saying I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.
When you shine, you give light to the world. The world cannot see without you, without you the world will be in darkness. Christians are important here on earth because they have the light of the world in them which illuminates dark places. When all Christians shall go, the earth will be as it were in Genesis 1:2a and the world will witness a horrible, long lasting eclipse. The earnest expectations of the world are the manifestation of your God given gifts, so the world needs you.
The world is waiting for you to shine forth, so don’t hide any longer. You are a city on the hill, you cannot hide. Put up the light of God in your street, office, and house. Do you see the ignorance and wickedness among the people of this world? It is because they don’t have a light to show them the right path. They have stumbled into witchcraft, sin and violence because you that have the light have decided to quench the light in you. Quench not the Holy Spirit so that you will give more light. A time has come for us to do a spiritual mapping and study the dark places in our environment then we go into those nations and streets to establish our company, business, church for the aim of illuminating the whole world.
There is a gift that is in you, stir it up and illuminate the world with it. It is a command. Remember that you cannot give the suitable light if you remove the source of this light- Jesus. So it calls for constant connection to Him so that we can radiate the light to all men. Keep shining brighter.
YOU ARE CARRYING THE LIGHT THAT IS MEANT FOR THE WORLD NOT JUST A LIGHT FOR YOUR BEDROOM.
