Beast and his mouth
Revelation 13:6”And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.”
I just had a glimpse of what this ‘beast’ would have spoken like, when I met a short, unassuming, puny man who uttered blasphemous words against the servants of God, naming them accurately, giving details of their ministry and location. I wondered, ‘why is this fellow so angry with the men of God’; however, I later came to know that he was a dirty beast harming and conning the servants of God . Stay away from people who speak harmful, harsh words against men/women of God. They have the ‘beast spirit’ in them, don’t join the band and grieve God. Are you listening?
Just after the church service, I watched a group of people from the church have a round-table-conference about the service that just got over. They were guffawing and mocking at the wrong scale taken by the singer, the noise of music and the style of people on the stage; here they were dissecting the men of God who had put great efforts and sweated out on the stage! I was shocked. Such is the spirit of the beast operating inside the church. Beware!
Friend, I must tell you this, you can be attacked by this ‘beast spirit’ inside the home, office, college, school and even on the pavement too. Don’t react or reply. Do you hear me? Let me give you an example, read the dirty words of Rabshakeh, the servant of Sennacherib king of Assyria: 2 King 18: 27”But Rabshakeh said to them, "Has my master sent me only to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, doomed to eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you?" Do you want to know the reaction of the Israelites? Read: verse 36”But the people were silent and answered him not a word, for the king's commandment was, "Do not answer him." Boy! I guess God is speaking to someone out there! Speak not a word to the beast! Take it to God!
I must say this, today there is a sadistic and egoistic pleasure in being snobby, overbearing, rude and curt? We have just forgotten to be kind, gentle and pleasant! How many of you have made1000 resolutions to hold your tongue and temper only to fail the next moment? Be honest. This is why precisely Jesus said, ‘without Me you can do nothing.’ (John 15:5)
