This world is entirely opposite in their perspective of things, and the LORD is entirely opposite from His perspective about the world.
Luke 16:15 (Amplified Bible)
But He said to them, You are the ones who declare yourselves just and upright before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted and highly thought of among men is detestable and abhorrent (an abomination) in the sight of God.
1 Samuel 16:7 (Amplified Bible)
But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.
Proverbs 21:2 (Amplified Bible)
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and tries the hearts.
The unbelievers of this world does not believe a single word that the FATHER has said through His WORDS. That's why they reversed it for their own benefit, and because of these instead of the WAY - the LORD JESUS given by GOD the FATHER, they devise their own way and therefore goes into destruction.
Proverbs 14:12 (Amplified Bible)
There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.
Proverbs 10:29 (Amplified Bible)
The way of the Lord is strength and a stronghold to the upright, but it is destruction to the workers of iniquity.
John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)
Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
B. They put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
"who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"
2 Peter 2:18-19 (Amplified Bible)
For uttering loud boasts of folly, they beguile and lure with lustful desires of the flesh those who are barely escaping from them who are wrongdoers.
They promise them liberty, when they themselves are the slaves of depravity and defilement—for by whatever anyone is made inferior or worse or is overcome, to that [person or thing] he is enslaved.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (Amplified Bible)
BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear].
For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.
[They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.
[They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.
For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].
2 Peter 2:1 (Amplified Bible)
BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
ILLUSTRATION: The cry of my heart is to see people save coming to the LORD with all their hearts and lips, but sadly majority that I've shared the gospel in it's entirety, all I can offer them is a cry, a woe for their sorrowful state of their soul because they have rejected the good news and would cling to their own way of destruction. All I can say to them is "woe". There's nothing else I can offer to people who don't need GOD's help. I find someone that is not lost.
Luke 19:10 (Amplified Bible)
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
IX. CONCLUSION:
Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for I was lost now I'm found, was blind but now I see.
