FROM HIM, THROUGH HIM, AND TO HIM
Romans 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen
This scripture is one of my favorite Bible verses.
Paul is telling us that, all things come from God, exist by His power, and are intended for His glory
Let's look at this for a few moments.
FROM HIM..
All things come God..... James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Col. 1:16 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
1st Cor. 8:6 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
These verses, clearly tell us that all things come from God.
THROUGH HIM.....
All things exist by His power.
Psalm 62:11 11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
Job 26:14 14 Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways,
and how small a whisper do we hear of him!
But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
1 Cor. 6:14 And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power
2 Cor. 13:4 4 For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.
These verses clearly tell us, that God is all powerful. All things exist by His power.
TO HIM....
All things are intended for His glory,
God's wil not share HIS glory.
Psalm 115:1 -3 Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
2 Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
3 Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases
Rev. 4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.”
Eph. 3:21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen
Gal. 1:5
5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen
Isa.43:7 everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made
As we can see from these verses, ALL THINGS COME FROM HIM, EXIST BY HIS POWER, AND ARE INTENDED FOR HIS GLORY.
Conclusion,
No matter how far down into God’s riches, or into God’s wisdom or into God’s knowledge you go, you never get beyond God. There is no explanation for more powerful than God. There is nothing that God can't do. . And there is nothing above God. There is nothing God can't do.
The bible asks. in Jeremiah 32:26-27 26Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, 27Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
You can’t give to God anything that is not already his. If you could, he would owe you. But you can’t. So he doesn’t owe you anything. And never will. All things are from him and through him. and intended for His glory..
