Topic: Why we say, "thank you Lord!"
Ps 100:1-5
Question: Why do we say "thank you" to Jesus continually?
1. Because thanksgiving is a definition of source.
2. Because positive attitude sponsors positive living.
3. Because ingratitude provokes the corruption of destiny.
4. Because the altar of testimony is the altar of advancement.
1st Service: THANKSGIVING IS A DEFINITION OF SOURCE
In 1 Chron 29:9-14.
Note 3 things:
-a- no one can worship God who is worshipping himself.
-b- self made men & man made men always suffer the liabilities of source.
-c- when you return to source, you provoke all sufficiency.
In 2 Cor 9:6-11.
2nd Service: POSITIVE ATTITUDE SPONSORS POSITIVE LIVING
Ps 89:15-18.
Note 3 things:
-a- when you focus on grace; contentment replaces restlessness.
-b- whatever cannot steal your passion 4 God, cannot steal your portion in God.
-c- when gratitude is your seed, grace becomes your harvest.
Hab 3:17-19.
3rd Service: INGRATITUDE PROVOKES DESTINY CORRUPTION
In Mal 2:1-3.
Note 3 things:
-a- nobody likes an ungrateful person.
-b- when you don't know how you got here; you won't know how to get there.
-c- when a blessing doesn't serve its divine purpose, it will lose its covenant covering.
In 2 Kgs 20:1-21.
4th Service: THE ALTAR OF TESTIMONY IS THE ALTAR OF ADVANCEMENT
In Isa 35:10.
Note 3 things:
-a- when you forget your source, you forfeit re-sourcing.
In 2 Chron 26:3-5;16-20.
-b- the witness of today's testimony is the weapon of tomorrow's triumph.
In 1 Sam 21:8-9.
-c- when thanksgiving is given before prophecy manifestation, testimonies are granted without battle participation.
