Summary: Jesus is the perfect example of a believer. A closer look at how the heart of Christ operated in his earthly work will break all traditions down and bring you up into the reality of what we have become in redemption and how to fully represent Him today.

THE HEART OF A BELIEVER (SERIES)

I do know that anyone who will follow this series "THE HEART OF A BELIEVER" closely will be transformed in so much that even your family would wonder what kind of person you have become. When we come face to face with JESUS, something happens to us. His presence, glory and heart beat falls upon us. Yes! like a cloth thrown over our head. We begin to wallow under the strong influence of his power and our thought patterns takes on the God's pattern and we begin to see life from His perspective. Now until this happens, then will we begin to experience the bible miracles today in our daily life.

Lets take a close look at the book of (Mark 9:14-29). It seems to me that i will never get over these verse of the scriptures. Every time I read a single phrase here, It sparks up another session of flaming tongues rolling from the depths of my spirit. Little did i know the reason why? it was the Holy Ghost showing me what the Heart of the Man Jesus really looked like in his earthly walk.

"And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them" (Mark 9:14).

Jesus had a kin interest in the affairs of his disciples. These men had left all they had to follow him. It's now his responsibility to watch over them as a master, a friend and a brother knowing that he was equal to God. He was everything to them. This tells me how perfectly a wonder his heart was, full of humility, love but stern and consistent in his approach to them.

"Master, carest thou not that we perish?"(Mark 4:38). His disciples cries out in desperation to him in the midst of the storm. "Master!!!" It feels good to be called "Master" but the responsibility of fitting into this class calls for a different kind of heart.

Oh! my heart is full of this tornadic flow of the Spirit I hear his voice inside of me saying "Look at Moses before the Stormy red sea; "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on." (Exodus 14:15). While Moses was seeking for a way, Jesus was taking his stand and making the way. He wasn't asking the father what to do with the storms. No! He knew that he had what it takes to shut the storms down. For His heart is fixed, knowing this one thing "he that cometh from above is above all". Therefore no situation should call for panicking, not even when you face a dead end. There is always a way in THE WAY".

I like to believe that Jesus wasn't a super duber man. No! otherwise he wouldn't be saying these words in Gethsemane "And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me." (Matthew 26:37). He had to believe in Who He is, What He has become and The Father who sent Him. His heart was just like you and me, it was under attack a thousand times through his life time, nevertheless he was a tremendous success because he possessed the heart of a believer.

I wouldn't say I believe and then say "Oh! God what are you going to do next?" Now that was exactly what Moses did at the red. He had just told the people “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:13-14). Then we heard God saying to him " “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on." Exodus 14:15) That simply tells me that he went back saying "Oh! God, I believe, now do something". Ah! I wonder, what exactly was going on in his mind. Maybe Moses was expecting something spectacular from above instead God was saying "It's all in your hands Moses". I've got nothing to do with it. It's all in your hands. "BELIEVE IN WHOM I HAVE MADE YOU TO BE."

Today; you are the believer on scene in this world. refuse to be intimidated by the storms, rise beyond the terror and see what Jesus had done for you in redemption. Take your stand and drive the enemy back to hell. Do not go around crying and saying " I believe but you've got to do something now". No! you begin to speak like Jesus "rebuke the storms and say 'peace be still'.

The word declares "In my name shall they cast out devils.." (Mark 16:17). what if you stand in front of a devil ready to be casted out and then you start saying "I believe, I can cast out devils in Jesus name" then turn around and say "Now Father what next" Ah! that devil will jump up and throw hell fire at you. I pray that you don't have to walk in the shoes of the Seven Sons of Sceva, because that wasn't how Jesus did it. He commanded what he wanted and was not waiting for the father to give him a secret vision on how to deal with devils.

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10)

NOTICE: " ...with the heart man believeth..." and not "...with the mouth man believeth" NO! confession of salvation is as a result of believing. you declare the result because it is birthed from the believe inside.

WATCH OUT FOR PART 2.
