The Lord will not pardon him, but then the anger of the Lord and His jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall settle on him; the Lord will blot out his very name from under the heavens.

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for the secret things belongs to You but You revealed all Your WORDS for me so that I can do all of them.

The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

A. What happens to the believer who abandons the LORD, stops following and obeying the LORD JESUS CHRIST:

1. The LORD will not pardon him/her

2. The anger of the LORD and His jealousy shall smoke against them

3. All the curses that are written on this book shall like upon him

4. The LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

Four things that will happen to the believer who abandons his faith and belief in the LORD, so beware, these are not threats but these are WORDS directly from the LORD. It will happen in order as He has said. Blessed be His Name! All are self-explanatory but we will explain each of them.

1. The LORD will not pardon him/her

The forgiveness of the LORD from all sins since birth until now for that believer will be removed.

Psalms 78:50 (Amplified Bible)

He leveled and made a straight path for His anger [to give it free course]; He did not spare [the Egyptian families] from death but gave their beasts over to the pestilence and the life [of their eldest] over to the plague.

Proverbs 6:34 (Amplified Bible)

For jealousy makes [the wronged] man furious; therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance [upon the detected one].

If we turn our backs from the LORD, of course, the LORD will turn His back on us and GOD, the LORD JESUS is our Forgiver and Forgiveness so all forgiveness will be removed from us and we are treated like sinners who have never known the LORD.

2. The anger of the LORD and His jealousy shall smoke against them

If there's no forgiveness left from the LORD then it will be replaced with anger.

Isaiah 27:11 (Amplified Bible)

When its boughs are withered and dry, they are broken off; the women come and set them afire. For they are a people of no understanding or discernment—witless folk; therefore He Who made them will not have compassion on them, and He Who formed them will show them no favor.

The LORD JESUS compares a backslidden CHRISTian beliver to the following:

a. Useless salt - you will be trampled underfoot for you are a useless salt.

Matthew 5:13 (Amplified Bible)

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

b. fruitless fig tree - you are not bearing any fruit because of disobedience and unfaithfulness.

Luke 13:7 (Amplified Bible)

So he said to the vinedresser, See here! For these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and I find none. Cut it down! Why should it continue also to use up the ground [to deplete the soil, intercept the sun, and take up room]?

c. hidden light - You are still lighting because You reflect the light of the LORD but you are hidden from men's eyes.

Matthew 5:14-15 (Amplified Bible)

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

ILLUSTRATION: secret agent CHRISTian believers, 007 James Bond CHRISTian, they are hiding among the shadows, you will only know them that they are church attenders if you talk to them investigatively but you will not have a clue on their lifestyle and the way they speak, they will not even share the WORD OF GOD. I've met people like these and I can't understand them, they have abandoned the LORD and yet the LORD loves them so much.

3. All the curses that are written on this book shall like upon him

Of COURSE, the shield of the cross is not upon them, the LORD JESUS can't take their curses away from them, so what remains are curses. They have not clung to the cross long enough for rapture to come.

Galatians 3:13 (Amplified Bible)

Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified);

Deuteronomy 28:15 (Amplified Bible)

But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you:

It's not that the LORD JESUS is cruel, but the enemy is. What remains is the deception of the enemy.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

And the backslider will feel all the effects of sin upon himself.

4. The LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

It is already blotted out.

[The souls of those] who long before in the days of Noah had been disobedient, when God’s patience waited during the building of the ark in which a few [people], actually eight in number, were saved through water.

They never believed a single word of the bible, therefore , the effects of unbelief are felt all around them and inside of them.

ILLUSTRATION: To further understand let me illustrate to you like in the example of a run away pet kitten. Althoug this is a very poor illustration but it drives out a point. I have a golden kitten years ago and I fed her with expensive cat food, even bathe her, give her toys but she still manages to get away from me and now I can find her, though I know she's hungry and might be even dead right now. If we are like this run away kitten running from our master sooner we will feel the effects of these abandonment and sooner it will overtake us.

I cry on backslidden people and they don't know, pride sets in, and the HOLY SPIRIT will not lead me sharing the WORD OF GOD to them, all I can offer them is pity without an action because I know I will be ridiculed and insulted so why try?

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for the secret things belongs to You but You revealed all Your WORDS for me so that I can do all of them.
