C. Purpose: To give a connected and orderly narrative of the life of CHRIST as seen by eyewitnesses

VIII. MAIN BODY:

Luke 11:24 (Amplified Bible)

When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it roams through waterless places in search [of a place] of rest (release, refreshment, ease); and finding none it says, I will go back to my house from which I came.

Luke 11:24 (King James Version)

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

A. A fallen angel will walk through restless places and will find no rest because he can't go to GOD's Presence.

The problem is they can't stand GOD's Presence, when before their fallen state, they are guardians of GOD's glory.

Someone took the enemy's place of guarding GOD'S glory because the enemy is not worthy anymore to guard GOD's glory, he was casted out as a profane thing from GOD's mountain. Since we are tripartite being: spirit, soul and body, we have rest because of this tent that we live in, our physical bodies. While angels since they are only spirits, they only can have rest in GOD's Presence, so demons or fallen angels have no rest because they are not allowed in GOD'S Presence, they are casted out as a profane thing. They are called "it" because they are sexless.

The believers have rest in GOD because GOD will never leave, nor forsake us nor abandon us.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (Amplified Bible)

Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.

Hebrews 13:5 (Amplified Bible)

B. A fallen angel's tendencies is always to go to the last person he possessed and return to it.

There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked.

The fallen angels wanted a body for their rest, so they will possess a body of a person. Since they are no longer allowed in GOD'S HOLY PRESENCE.

And he kept begging Him urgently not to send them [himself and the other demons] away out of that region.

Mark 9:25 (Amplified Bible)

But when Jesus noticed that a crowd [of people] came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you to come out of him and never go into him again.

So beware if you are a new believer a new convert in the LORD, soak yourself in GOD'S Presence, especially those who have just been delivered from vices like smoking, drinking and gambling. Beware not to skip churches, bible studies, prayer meetings and fellowships and the like, because the fallen angel that possessed you before are on the lookout for you to possess you again. Take control by James 4:7

James 4:7 (Amplified Bible)

So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.
