Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are the LORD who chooses the place where you can be glorified and we offer ourselves as living sacrifices to You.

A. GOD will choose the place to place His Name in

"But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in,"

1 Peter 1:19-20 (Amplified Bible)

It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you.

ILLUSTRATION: The problem with today's work and careers they schedule their over times every Sunday not knowing and respecting the LORD, that's why we don't attend on services every Sunday. Wisdom will teach us to talk to our boss about this so they can give you an alternative day not touching Sundays or else find a job that is complementing the church, not your own schedule.

Also the problem with today's family, they schedule their family reunion outside of the church, there's no problem scheduling it but it MUST be inside the church. This will include all your brothers, sisters, cousins etc.

B. There we can offer ourselves as living sacrifices

"there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt"

Egypt is a type of the world and it's worldliness.

1 John 2:16 (Amplified Bible)

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].

We have been delivered from all that is in the world : lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life.

Now to serve the LORD JESUS CHRIST our service and spiritual worship is to offer our bodies as living sacrifice unto the LORD, holy and well-pleasing to GOD. That's the only way to please the LORD by faith, sacrifices in the New Testament are no longer required to die but living, living for GOD.

We are able to sacrifice ourselves as living sacrifices because the LORD JESUS CHRIST lives within us as the LAMB OF GOD, and His Signature, the ALEPH-TAV, the FIRST and the LAST, the BEGINNING AND THE END, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA is placed after the word "sacrifice" giving it a significant meaning.

ILLUSTRATION: The father of a family prepares and hurries for all his things because he is going abroad and leave his family as a broken family here in the Philippines and when I talked to him, he said that he's making a sacrifice for his family to be well in life. I just nodded my head in sadness because that father don't know that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the Perfect and Final Sacrifice and there's no more sacrifices that needs to be offered. And I asked him when he returned and said he's the provider of his family, later on in life he got sick and now can't even buy their own food for the family. What's wrong? because that father took upon himself that he's the sacrifice and the provider, but it's all lies. Only the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the Sacrifice and the Provider.

John 1:29 (Amplified Bible)

The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world!

Philippians 4:19 (Amplified Bible)

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

ILLUSTRATION: I always saw this commercial ad picture wherein the mother feeds the baby through breast milk, it's quite a picture, but the problem with this picture, is where is the father? Absent? or Invisible? I think this picture promotes not breast milk but absentesm father, the father who is abroad. But the bible is clear that the father's task is to bring his children up in the nurture and admonition of the LORD, the father's task is to nurture his children, it's not the mother's task but the mother comes in as a helpmate. That's why I am very against in father who works abroad to provide for his children. If GOD places us in the Philippines, then surely He can provide for us here in the Philippines. That's common sense and wisdom for you foolish fathers, absent fathers.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are the LORD who chooses the place where you can be glorified and we offer ourselves as living sacrifices to You.
