WE ARE LOOKING AT THE LAST DAYS
2nd Timothy 3: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
So many minds are filled with doubt and confusion for like of knowledge of Gods word.
We need to take God’s word at face value for what it says believe it and that should settle it nothing else needed.
1. People are departing from bible truth.
2nd Timothy 3: 5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
Not teaching the virgin birth of Christ.
Denying the blood atonement and the resurrection and suffering of Christ.
Don’t want verbal inspiration of the Holy Word of God.
2. Doubt the reality and existence of God.
Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
If you doubt God is real.
You have no trusting faith in God.
If we doubt the power of God. You don’t believe in the pardon of God.
3. Divided against standards of Gods Word.
1st Timothy 4: 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
His word sets standards for our faith
Sets standards for our family: husband wife and children
His word sets standards for our future Heaven or Hell
4. Denying the call to full surrender.
1st John 2: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Part time Christians are problems.
Part time people play Church.
Part time Christians are careless.
5. Die lost in sins.
Acts 4: 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Many die in sins
Most don’t see need to be saved.
Warn them today
6. Doomed for ever without Gods Grace and Mercy
Turned away to long
Did not repent and ask to be saved
To much sinful pleasures
7. The difference Salvation for the asking.
Matthew 16: 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Hell is a sad story.

A sure thing Jesus will forgive now today.
