Let God be Bigger: John 3:30
Sometimes in our lives we forget about what is truly important. We are always go go go, and rarely stop to thank the person/people in that means most to us in our lives. To some it might be your Father, Mother, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, Favorite Teacher, For some of us our spouse, maybe a Pastor/Mentor, or for some maybe your Dog, etc. As we continue to think about these people or things, there is one that outshines the rest and that is our God.
When I say ours, I am giving God this meaning. See for me, he’s not just anyone’s. To me he is mine. I know when we speak to others about him we often times say, “God loves you” or “God is always there for you,” which is awesome, because there are so many people out there hurting, and they need to know that. But have you ever stopped to think about the magnitude that he belongs to you too? To be able to tell others these things we have to know that God is in the Center of our lives as well. That God means so much to us that we are excited and anxious to tell others about him. Because he is ours too. He means so much to us, he is always with us.
Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go.”
Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
See just with these two verses, and of course there are so many more, God is telling us that he is always there and that he is OURS. He isn’t just anyone's, he is ours.
God has to be BIGGER!
John 3:30
NIV: “He must become greater; I must become less.”
Message: “That’s why my cup is running over. This is the assigned moment for him to move into the center, while I slip off to the sidelines.”
The Lord has to be our center. He must be our Hope. He must be our Strength. He must be our lifeline phone call. I am not saying that thanking others for the things they do should go unnoticed. That is not what I am stating. What I want you all to realize, is that there is one who is above all else. One who overshadows the others! That is God! When you are BROKEN, WEARY, DEPRESSED, THINGS IN LIFE ARE OVERWHELMING. He Must Become Greater; I Must Become Less.” He is there for us, He is ours. There will be times in our lives in which we are at our wits end. There is truly only one to look upon, He is our Savior, and He is God.
Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.”

I Am Second - Brian Welch (7 mins.)
For Brian, after all had failed. After his flesh may have failed, he put God as the Center. He let God in, and God became stronger as he became less. Let God in, draw near to him. Lastly, thank him for all he has done!
