A. Lay upon the head of the offering
"And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation:"
Lay or "samak" in Hebrew meaning:
1. to prop
2. reflexively to lean upon

6. hold, lay, lean, lie hard, put, rest self, set self, stand fast, stay
Hand or "yad" in Hebrew meaning:
1. open hand meaning power, means, direction
Head or "roshe" in Hebrew meaning: to shake, the head
Offering or "qorban qurban" in Hebrew meaning:
1. something brought near the altar
2. sacrificial present
3. oblation, that is offered or offering

The fulfillment of this scripture is on Matthew 27:29 and the "shaken" part was fulfilled in Matthew 27:30 because His head was struck by the staff.

The offering or sacrifice is LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself, our LORD, MASTER, SAVIOR and GOD. His Precious Head was strucked several times by the reed/staff that was used to humiliate Him. Indeed, all the blood of the people at that time and in our time, is placed on His head. He is accountable for all their souls but they have rejected the offer.
B. Sprinkle the blood upon the altar
"and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar"
Sprinkle or "zaraq" in Hebrew meaning: to sprinkle (fluid or solid particles), be here and there, scatter, sprinkle, strew.

The two words "lay" and "sprinkle" now has special meaning to us because of the "touch" of the LORD JESUS CHRUST, our ALEPH-TAV. Now when we offer souls to the LORD, it needs to be laid hands and offered to the LORD as a living sacrifice because the blood of LORD JESUS CHRIST has been applied to it for it to be accepted.
