Hosea 10:1-15 IT IS TIME 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

THE REVELATION OF -

1. THE WILL OF GOD "Sow to yourselves"

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2. THE WORK OF GOD - "in righteousness" Salvation is of the Lord

3. THE WISDOM OF GOD"And reap in mercy"

Matt 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

The respect for the Lord's Person "good" His Position "master"

His Plan - what good thing shall I do, His Purpose - "eternal life"

4. THE WAYS OF GOD - "break up your fallow ground"

It's a way of Co-operation "break up"

of Coronation - crown him, personally, promptly, permanently

of Consecration - "your fallow ground"

5. THE WAY TO GOD "For it is time to seek the Lord"

(a) To Seek the Lord

The Preparation to seeking God - break up

The Priority of seeking God - "it is time"

The Privilege of seeking God - "the Lord"

The Promise in seeking God - "till he come"

(b) To See the Lord - "till he come" He will come

Personally, Powerfully, Profitably - "rain righteousness upon you"

(c) To Serve the Lord - Because of:-

i. Life's Brevity - James 4:14 "For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

ii. Death's Certainity - Heb 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

iii. World's Apostacy - 2 Tim 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

iv. Soul's Eternity - Luke 16:23 "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

v. Christ's Expectancy - "Behold I come quickly"
