Isaiah 55:1 – 3, 6, 7 OUR GREATEST NEED
A. The Problem 1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
It's a Spiritual Need (v. 1) Ho, every one that thirsteth
Not Material, Not Social, Not Physical,
It's a Serious Need and he that hath no money;
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
It's a Solved Need (v. 1) come ye, buy, and eat yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
B. The Plea 3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Consider 3 Incline your ear,
Come 3 and come unto me:
Call 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Convert 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD.
C. The Promise 7 let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
God is willing to meet your need 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD
God is able to meet your need 7 and he will have mercy upon him;
God has promised to meet your need 7 and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
