Of Redemption "I have redeemed thee!" III. Of Reception "I have called thee by thy name! (v. 1). There is a General Call. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Of Regeneration "Thou art mine!" (v. 1). A. With Us :- In Person, In Power, & In Permanence even unto the end of the world (b) When will He be with Us When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; He is with Us all the Time but especially in trouble. VII. Of Restoration 4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: The Saved are God's peculiar treasure- Luke 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. VIII. Of Recognition "Thou hast been honorable!" (v. 4). We are not honorable by nature, nor by our deeds. But God by his grace has made us honorable in his sight Ezek. 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD. A. He gave us an honourable privilege- The Sons of God!

B. He gave us an honourable standing- Righteousness!

C. He gave us an honourable nature- "Christ in You."

D. He will bring us to an honourable inheritance- Heaven!

IX. Of Relationship "I have loved thee!" (v. 4). So greatly does the Lord God love his own elect that he will sacrifice men and nations for them! v. 4 therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

X. Of Reclamation "I have created him for my glory!" 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. (a) He created us for his Pleasure

(b) He created us for his Purpose

(c) He created us for his Praise A. He chose us for his own glory (Eph. 1:3-6).

B. He redeemed us for his own glory (Eph 1:7-12).

C. He called us for his own glory (Eph. 1:13-14).

D. He will show forth his glory in us in the last day (Eph. 2:7).That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
