Blessed and happy and enviably fortunate and spiritually prosperous (in the state in which the born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!

V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You made me fruitful in everything and made it even double in the midst of this miserable world.

For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

VIII. MAIN BODY:
Genesis 41:52 (Amplified Bible)
And the second he called Ephraim [to be fruitful], For [he said] God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
A. The Second is Fruitful
"And the second he called Ephraim [to be fruitful],"
Second or "sheny" in Hebrew meaning: double, second, again. JESUS CHRIST as our LORD, SAVIOR and MASTER is The Second Person in the Trinity and He has doubled the FATHER GOD, second in command, power and authority to ABBA, FATHER, and Again He has shown us the FATHER through His Body that can be touched, kissed and hugged.
Ephraim or "ephrayim" in Hebrew meaning: double fruit.
Genesis 41:52 (The Message)
He named his second son Ephraim (Double Prosperity), saying, "God has prospered me in the land of my sorrow."
Whatever GOD, the FATHER has given us from creation, JESUS doubled it. Hallelujah!
We receive double:
1. Double portion of Divine Protection - no weapon can kill us and no tongue can destroy us
Isaiah 54:17 (Amplified Bible)
But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.
Jeremiah 15:20-21 (Amplified Bible)
And I will make you to this people a fortified, bronze wall; they will fight against you, but they will not prevail over you, for I am with you to save and deliver you, says the Lord.
And I will deliver you out of the hands of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the palms of the terrible and ruthless tyrants.
2. Double portion of Spirit of Anointing - we have the HOLY SPIRIT and we have our human spirit made alive again or born again
2 Kings 2:9 (Amplified Bible)
And when they had gone over, Elijah said to Elisha, Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you. And Elisha said, I pray you, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.
3. Double portion of blessing/prosperity, double portion of everything the FATHER has.

But he shall acknowledge the son of the disliked as the firstborn by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he was the first issue of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

4. Double portion of land - we have a land here on earth, or if not a land in New Jerusalem, and a "land" in Heaven dwelling in mansions

For as [surely as] the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring forth, so [surely] the Lord God will cause rightness and justice and praise to spring forth before all the nations [through the self-fulfilling power of His word].
5. Double honor
Isaiah 61:7 (Amplified Bible)
Instead of your [former] shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs.
We see even in the midst of misery, Joseph is ok when he is not miserable but in here we see he flourishes and he doubles even in the midst of misery.
Genesis 49:22 (Amplified Bible)
Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well (spring or fountain), whose branches run over the wall.
Ephraim is Israel and also the Israel of GOD. He has doubled everything that we have from Him. Our name is used to bless people.
Genesis 48:20 (Amplified Bible)
And he blessed them that day, saying, By you shall Israel bless [one another], saying, May God make you like Ephraim and like Manasseh. And he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
Galatians 6:16 (Amplified Bible)
Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule [who discipline themselves and regulate their lives by this principle], even upon the [true] Israel of God!
Psalms 125:5 (Amplified Bible)
As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways [of indifference to God], the Lord will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!
B. GOD causes us to be fruitful even in misery
"For [he said] God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction."
Remember the worldly saying you can put down a good man. It's true, because GOD's goodness and kindness is inside of us, that is the LORD JESUS CHRIST who is our Righteousness.
We minister JESUS as our Righteouness, since we are the ministers of Righteousness.
2 Corinthians 3:9 (Amplified Bible)
For if the service that condemns [the ministration of doom] had glory, how infinitely more abounding in splendor and glory must be the service that makes righteous [the ministry that produces and fosters righteous living and right standing with God]!
Acts 7:10 (Amplified Bible)
And delivered him from all his distressing afflictions and won him goodwill and favor and wisdom and understanding in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
Even in the midst of afflictions, adversities, problems, trials, persecutions, we are blessed. Not all things are good in this life, but all things work together for our own good.
