Summary: To show that we need to agree with what GOD says and change our mind from there by renewing it with the WORD of GOD in humility and acceptance.

I. EXORDIUM:

The WORD of GOD is JESUS Himself Personified, and whatever He says, agree, transform and change and be renewed according to the WORD of the LORD. If you choose not to do this, you have already made a choice to be conformed and transformed to this world's principle which is against the LORD.

Romans 12:2 (Amplified Bible)

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

John 1:1 (Amplified Bible)

IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

When I was an unbeliever before, I believed that the GOD of this world is JESUS but I was sincerely mistaken. The god of this world is not the LORD JESUS but the enemy so all the whole world and it's inhabitants is under the power and sway of the enemy not GOD. That's why daily, every morning, or before all work starts in your life, you need to be conformed by the renewing of your mind through the WORD of GOD.

Matthew 15:27 (Amplified Bible)

She said, Yes, Lord, yet even the little pups (little whelps) eat the crumbs that fall from their [young] masters’ table.

A. Acceptance, humility and renewal of mind according to the WORD

"She said, Yes, Lord,"

The Canaanite woman is a Gentile and the children referred to here are the Jews. The priority of GOD's blessings/food/providence are the Jews, not the Gentiles. If you born not a Jew, then you are a Gentile. There are only kinds of people on earth: Jew or Gentile. We need to accept that our GOD the GOD that we worship is a Jewish GOD.

Romans 9:4 (Amplified Bible)

For they are Israelites, and to them belong God’s adoption [as a nation] and the glorious Presence (Shekinah). With them were the special covenants made, to them was the Law given. To them [the temple] worship was revealed and [God’s own] promises announced.

The Jews therefore are the natural branches that were broken off, while the Gentiles are the grafted branches.

Romans 11:17-21 (Amplified Bible)

But if some of the branches were broken off, while you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them to share the richness [of the root and sap] of the olive tree,

Do not boast over the branches and pride yourself at their expense. If you do boast and feel superior, remember it is not you that support the root, but the root [that supports] you.

You will say then, Branches were broken (pruned) off so that I might be grafted in!

That is true. But they were broken (pruned) off because of their unbelief (their lack of real faith), and you are established through faith [because you do believe]. So do not become proud and conceited, but rather stand in awe and be reverently afraid.

For if God did not spare the natural branches [because of unbelief], neither will He spare you [if you are guilty of the same offense].

Hence, in the world today, they are persecuting the Jew, there's a lot of jokes that are against a Jew. Why? Because: of the LORD JESUS who is inside a born again Jew. The salvation is by faith not by works or not by nationality but by Grace through faith.

John 15:20 (Amplified Bible)

Remember that I told you, A servant is not greater than his master [is not superior to him]. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word and obeyed My teachings, they will also keep and obey yours.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (Amplified Bible)

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that [the murmurs and excuses of] every mouth may be hushed and all the world may be held accountable to God.

Although this Canaanite woman, a Gentile knew in herself that she's not entitled to GOD's providence of healing, she approached JESUS in humility of heart and accepted the WORD that was given to her by JESUS, that she's a dog, a sinner, nothing to be compared with the child of GOD.

James 1:21 (Amplified Bible)

So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.

Even Apostle Paul, Pharisee of the Pharisees accepted the WORD of GOD in his life and this leads to his conversion. Jews and Gentiles alike, need to be born again, whatever the kind of people or person you are, you need to be born again. Accept that we are sinners from birth and we need the Savior - the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

1 Corinthians 15:8-9 (Amplified Bible)

And last of all He appeared to me also, as to one prematurely and born dead [no better than an unperfected fetus among living men].

For I am the least [worthy] of the apostles, who am not fit or deserving to be called an apostle, because I once wronged and pursued and molested the church of God [oppressing it with cruelty and violence].

Marvel not [do not be surprised, astonished] at My telling you, You must all be born anew (from above).

Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.

B. We benefit even from crumbs (small blessings) that fall from the LORD's table.

"yet even the little pups (little whelps) eat the crumbs that fall from their [young] masters’ table"

Crumbs or "psichion" in Greek meaning: a little bit or morsel. It's just like saying even a little bit of GOD's blessings will cover every area of your life. That is what the Canaanite woman is saying that even this little bit of GOD's healing can deliver her daughter from demon possession. There's no pretension on this woman's nature, she accepted that her daughter is in deep trouble because she's possessed by the enemy and she admitted that only JESUS can deliver her from demon possession, and even a little crumb can do that huge request for her daughter.

Ephesians 3:8 (Amplified Bible)

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out],

Ephesians 3:19-20 (Amplified Bible)

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—

What about us? Now that we know the LORD our blessing is super abundantly provided for us, [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]. The Canaanite woman is saying that the blessing of deliverance is not intentional on the part of JESUS but it may fall from time to time from the huge table of blessings of GOD in Heaven. She's asking that little bit of healing and deliverance from the LORD.

But the LORD is Generous and He gave more than enough what the woman is asking Him.

Luke 15:17 (Amplified Bible)

Then when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have enough food, and [even food] to spare, but I am perishing (dying) here of hunger!

1 Corinthians 15:58 (Amplified Bible)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

Realize who you are in the LORD, you are a nobody before without the LORD, now in the LORD and with the LORD, You are more than conquerors in CHRIST's Name.
