Lu 1:17 Isa 60:1-3
As I have heard and seen things transpiring in America that we never believed could happen, such as legalizing gay marriage selling baby body parts, people given the legal right to use whatever restroom they choose based on their sexual orientation rather than the anatomy they were born with.
And recently a Christian woman arrested and jailed because she would not issue a marriage license to a gay couple.
I heard the Holy Spirit say to me
Are you ready?
I assumed he meant ready for Jesus to come back, I thought yes Lord I've been washed in the blood of Jesus, and my confidence rests in the finished work of Jesus Christ and his crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection. My name is written down in the Lamb's Book of Life. I believe I'm ready.
But I sensed that he was speaking of something more than just knowing I was saved.
I heard it again are you ready?
Then I understood: He was asking me are you pre-pared for immediate action or use?
That's what ready means. (Are you mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, and even physically prepared for what is coming?)
Then a scripture came to my mind
Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and the power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people, (prepared) for the Lord.
This scripture was speaking of John the Baptists ministry as a forerunner of Jesus. Getting people ready to receive the ministry of Jesus.
In other words (preparing) them to be in a mental, emotional, and spiritual disposition so that when Jesus came in his ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit, the people could be benefited by it, instead of overwhelmed or destroyed by it.
John's ministry was the baptism of repentance from sin. (Change your way of thinking, of speaking, of living, put away your sinful lives.) I'm baptizing you in water unto repentance to get you ready, To get you prepared for the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire.
And again the Holy Spirit said to me are you ready?
He said John's ministry was to get a people (ready and prepared) so they could cooperate and participate with Jesus ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Are you ready?
I said Lord could you be a little more specific with me, and he said: I'm not speaking about getting ready for my return (this message is to my people that are already saved and prepared for my coming) and I heard the Lord say again
Are you ready?
Now I'm really thinking: Ready for what Lord?
Now before I go any farther let me say this first (I'm just like you, I want Jesus to come, I want to fly away from this wicked world right now) I’m practicing my take off right now.
But I also have to ask myself this question: why did Jesus give us the power of the Holy Spirit? The blood? The right and authority to use his name? The nine gifts of the Spirit?
Jesus said it was to make us salt and light.
The point is, while we're here living ready for his coming we're supposed to be occupying the land, Advancing the Kingdom of God, invading the darkness, undoing the devil's work, healing the sick, casting out devils, delivering the bound and the oppressed.
Are you ready?
Ready for what?
Then He said: Ready for the shaking.
Now understand, we're not doing the shaking we're just announcing what we see coming.
Hab 2:1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and I will watch to see what he will say to me, and what I shall answer when I'm reproved.
I've said it before but it bears repeating (I am a watchman)
To stand upon my watch means to be faithful to the prayer hour, Faithfulness to prayer gives us spiritual insight; advance warning of what is coming.
My first responsibility is to stand in the presence of God; secondly it's to watch, to have eyes to see in the spirit what is coming, then to say what I see.
As a spiritual watchman I don't have the liberty to say whatever I want to. I don't have the liberty to just echo what’s popular. I don't have the liberty to speak what is comfortable and convenient. When it comes to my responsibility as a watchman all I can do is pray and see hear and obey.
If you think I like preaching these kinds of messages you're wrong.
I don't like trials, hardships, test, difficulties, adversities, and natural disasters any more than you do.
To tell the truth: I never thought we’d be here to see any of what's happening in this nation today. I thought we would all be in heaven by now.
I don't even recognize this nation anymore.
We murder babies in the name of convenience and call it pro choice (60 million babies have been murdered by legalized abortion since the courts ruled in the roe vs wade decision and legalized abortion.)
And now this monster called planned parent hood has been caught red handed admitting to selling baby body parts.
It seems that it’s open season on cops, Now the ones who have sworn to protect and serve us, need to be protected. People are walking on and burning the American flag in public, and the law comes to protect their rights to do it.
The first photographs that came out of the White House after being banned for 40 years were pictures of gay activist giving the finger to a portrait of Ronald Reagan. And another photo of two lesbians kissing under the same portrait.
And just the other day Kentucky put a Christian woman in jail for not issuing a marriage license to two gay men.
I heard the Holy Spirit said to me are you ready?
Ready for what Lord?
And he said:
READY:
*For prayer to be outlawed: and I thought God that can't be possible, no one can make it illegal to pray. And he reminded me of Daniel and when it was against the law to pray but Daniel prayed anyway and he was thrown into a lion's den.
*And then he said for ministry to be outlawed: Example Paul and Silas: they were thrown in jail for delivering a woman from demon possession.
*For owning a Bible to be outlawed, it's coming to America it's already illegal in many parts of the world to own a Bible.
*For assembling together to worship to be outlawed.
*For preaching the gospel to be outlawed.
*For freedom of worship to be taken away, in other words for it to be against the law to worship God.
(Are you ready for God's judgment on the sins of this nation?)
Are you ready for wars, are you ready for the occurrences of natural disasters: earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, tornadoes, drought, famine, pestilence, volcanoes?
(These are the things that Jesus said would happen before he returns)
Matt 24:7-12 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
I know this is not a running jumping shouting message, and I know there are a lot of people who don't want to hear this, and think that we're just paranoid. And I know that multitudes of people including many believers have the idea that everything is fine and wonderful and everything’s getting better and better and that people that talk like this are just fear mongers.
That we feed off of and take pleasure in causing people to fear, but our assignment is not to incite you to fear what's coming, but to prepare you for what's coming.
When you are prepared, equipped, ready, then you won't fear what's coming.
*Noah heard the voice of God and he prepared an ark to the saving of his family.
*Joseph was sent by God to Egypt to prepare for the seven-year famine that covered the earth.
To prepare means to make ready in advance, to plan for, to take steps ahead of time. To make ready in case.
The fact is: There is a major shaking coming to the United States of America and the world.
Hebrews 12: 26 -27 yet once more I shake not only the earth but also heaven, and this word, yet once more, signifying the removing of those things that are shaken as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
And then he said are you ready?
And I thought again (for what?)
What else can there be? I don't think I can take anymore Lord.
And then he said. Are you ready for the greatest revival that has ever hit planet Earth?
He said that this last day revival is going to embrace everything in full measure that has been in former revivals in limited measure.
He said the Apostle, the Prophet, the Pastor, the Teacher, and the Evangelist will all be in place and they will function together in perfect order as one body. He said the word movement, the Faith Movement, the Charismatic movement, the healing movement, the Apostolic movement, the Prophetic movement, the Teaching movement, Signs and wonders and the gifts of the Spirit will all come together for this last day revival.
I said lord how can this be this world is so dark and evil? And he said that's no surprise to me I told you that was going to be this way, I told you that the darkness in the world would be the backdrop for the manifestation of my glory.
Then he took me to Isaiah 60:1-3
Arise shine for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee, for behold the darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall rise upon thee, and His glory she'll be seen upon thee, And the Gentiles shall come to thy light and Kings to the brightness of thy rising.
As I bring this message to a close, Let me preach for just a few minutes:
It doesn’t matter what happens in this world, It doesn’t matter how dark it gets, or how evil or wicked and perverse this world gets, (the true Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is going to rise to the top).
Greater is he that is in us, than he that is in the world.
Just like Noah’s ark, The higher the flood waters rose, the higher it lifted the ark and the ark rode on top of it all.
My friends I came to tell you today, the church is not leaving here like a whipped dog with her tail between her legs sneaking off in the middle of the night while everybody is sleeping.
(No sir just like Israel coming out of Egypt: She left with a high hand).
When we leave: we are going out in a blaze of Glory
The True blood washed, Holy Ghost Filled, Holy Ghost anointed and empowered church of the Living God is getting ready to stand up, and we're going to see the church in her full glory.
The book of Acts was the New Testament church in her infancy but Before Jesus returns we're going to see the church in her maturity, full grown, in her full glory, in her full power.
There is no way God is going to let our last chapter be less than our first chapter.
The glory of the latter house shall be greater than the glory of the former house.
He's saved the best for last.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for persecution?
Are you ready for shaking?
Are you ready for glory.
Yes there is a shaking coming, but I don't want you to focus on the shaking I want you to be prepared for the shaking but focus on the glory.
Haggai 2:7 and I will shake all nations and the desire of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory saith the LORD of hosts.
