To show that GOD loves mankind or us so much because He wanted us first to avail of His Grace and then His eternal life, all kept in JESUS for the sake of JESUS and in JESUS's Name.

So [God] drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden the cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep and guard the way to the tree of life.

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS, the GOD of Peace, who has sanctified us through and through, made us pure, wholly consecrated to GOD, who preserves my spirit and soul and body, kept blameless until Your coming.

So [God] drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden the cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep and guard the way to the tree of life.
A. GOD drove man out of paradise

How did GOD accomplished this?
1. Personally GOD drove man out of paradise: Eden
2. Cherubims were placed to guard Eden
The ALEPH-TAV is located and placed on strategic location of this verse:
a. after the word "OUT" signifying that the LORD JESUS Himself was the One rejected not anyone else, not Adam, not Eve, they're not rejected, they are loved.
After this the trend of being "driven away" from the Presence of the LORD started. They thought all along that GOD drove them away but GOD drove JESUS away from His Presence on our behalf:

The insults, rejections of people that are meant for us fell on the LORD JESUS, He's the Scape Goat.

Actually all insults and rejection you do to people fall on GOD but JESUS CHRIST our LORD, the Second Person in the Trinity took up all these insults and even curses and it fell on Him.

JESUS is our Paradise our Eden here on earth and only HE ALONE can say to a sin-laden, criminal man about to die in the cross, You will be with me in Paradise." What a comfort! What an assurance we have in JESUS!

The Keeper of our soul is JESUS, the Maintainer of our bodies here on earth is JESUS.
JESUS is the Keeper of the following in our life:
(1) JESUS is the Keeper of Paradise of GOD and is the Paradise of GOD

(2) JESUS is the Keeper of the Abrahamic covenant

B. GOD guarded the way to the tree of life
"to keep and guard the way to the tree of life"
Flaming sword turned every way that's how GOD guarded the way to the tree of life. Why?
Because as immortal being like the devil has no access to grace anymore, but mortal beings have access to GOD's Grace. Because of His LOVE for us, GOD made sure that we avail of His Grace: the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Revelation 2:7 (Amplified Bible)
He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Through the middle of the broadway of the city; also, on either side of the river was the tree of life with its twelve varieties of fruit, yielding each month its fresh crop; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing and the restoration of the nations.

The ONLY time GOD opened the access to the tree of life and invited people to come and partake or consume it is when they are washed in the blood of the Lamb, victorious over sin and those that will not cancel or take away from the statements of this book: the bible. There are 3 requirements to give you right to partake or consume the tree of life: (1) if you accepted the LORD JESUS in your heart as LORD, MASTER and SAVIOR, (2) you are consistently righteous, victorious over sin, and (3) if you believe the bible as infallible and absolute WORD of GOD.
O.S.A.S. (Once save, always saved) people who live in sin and excuses themselves with extreme grace, is not welcomed to the tree of life, they cannot partake of it. I encountered people like this, it's better to give you open rebuke than secret love.
