Third or "shelyshy" in Hebrew meaning:
1. third
2. third part, third day, third story, third part

Third day is a long time, it's no longer accepted. What's accepted is the first day - a short one, and second day is just right, third day is too long, it's no longer accepted. What do we need to do for sacrifices on the third day? Burn it, because it's already useless.
Example:
Sodom and Gomorrah are already burned to the ground on the third day.

Some significance of the "THIRD DAY" on the bible:
1. All offerings and sacrifices must be consumed/offered to the LORD until the second day.

Abominable or "piggul piggul" in Hebrew meaning:
1. stink
2. fetid - having an offensive smell; having a strong or rancid scent.
3. unclean
What's ABOMINABLE in the bible?
1. offerings of vanity - vainglory, futility - "praise me, not praise GOD"
Isaiah 1:13 (Amplified Bible)
Bring no more offerings of vanity (emptiness, falsity, vainglory, and futility); [your hollow offering of] incense is an abomination to Me; the New Moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure—[it is] iniquity and profanation, even the solemn meeting.
They say "praise me" not "PRAISE GOD", they credit themselves, they forgot to acknowledge GOD, neither thank GOD nor credit GOD when GOD did successful things in their lives.
Romans 1:21-23 (Amplified Bible)
Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.

And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.

[Such people] have chosen their own ways, and they delight in their abominations;
