Speak it..Believe it..Receive it...
We live in a world where communication is key, its very important to all of us.
Everybody knows about their right to free speech...people are free to say pretty much whatever pops into their head
Never has there been a time in history, that people have ever spoke to each other more than they do now a days...and ever said less
A study concluded; The average person speaks 16,000 words per day..
which is like 15 words per waking minute?
All those words spoken each and every day… They accomplish one of two things, either they build up or they tear down...The subject that they're talking about
I'm sure we have all known someone who loves to talk… And have said
the same thing...Man those people love to hear themselves talk
Truth is… God could say the same thing of all of us
So many words, so many wasted opportunities, so much to be done…
The NSA… The governments record keeping system…
Falls short of God's record keeping system
God has a record of everything, everyone, has ever spoke...
God has always known words possess power,
Gen 1:1-3 NKJ
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2.The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
All through out creation we read how God spoke the world into existence.
Ever since the beginning of time we see how His words have power in them.
Jesus gave us a great example of how much power our words possess,
TBS. in the book of Mark 11:12-14, 19-24 NKJ
12. Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry.
13. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
14. In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.”
And His disciples heard it.
19. When evening had come, He went out of the city.
20. Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”
...peter was amazed, at the power Jesus words had..as we all are
The look on his face must've been one of… How can this be...that everything obeys your commands!
And as we read on… We see that Jesus was more than happy
to tell him how things work and how his words and his faith...
affect the outcome of every situation
22. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Have Faith in God
Do not doubt
Believe...and then ask
That you will receive them....AND YOU WILL!!
Jesus was spelling it out for us, and
He wasn't intimidated in the least by anything we could ever ask…
He left it open ended… He said what ever you ask when you pray...
if you have a need in your life...
no matter what it is, He said;
*even if it seems like a mountain to you
*it doesn’t matter, when or where it happens
*speak to your situation,
*have faith in God,
*believe He will take care of it,
*let go and let God do what He said He would do...
sometimes that’s the hardest part, letting go...You know the releasing of your faith...
The moment that you let go and rest on Gods Ability Alone
You know God could perform any miracle, without you letting go of it...
but that wouldn’t require much faith would it, if He did?
Only when you let go, does it release your faith
and allow Him to do what you ask Him to!! Amen!!
Jesus was always using parables and stories to make it easier to understand and remember and to make it more relevant.
We all remember the story where Jesus used a small boy’s lunch
of 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread...to feed 5,000 men,
their wives and their children too...some believe it to be as high as 20,000 individuals
I think this miracle took place to prove a point… When Jesus said
whatever you ask He meant it...
He wanted us to know… That there was nothing impossible…
There was Nothing out of the range of His Fathers Realm of Possibility!!
20,000 all you can eat fish dinners...not a problem..no problem at all
He wanted us to know and realize that we could address any mountain...
Believe and not doubt and watch His Father make a super highway through it..with a rest park right in the middle of it! Praise God!!
Matt. 14:16-20 NKJ
16. But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
(and he would have me tell you the same thing...when you come across
someone in need..no matter what you have in your pocket...you possess the wherewithal to take care of the need...)
Peter said: silver and gold have I none...but what I have I give unto thee
You have the same thing he had!...
Realize What You Have...you are not one of the have nots, you are one of the HAVE'S!!!
17. And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
18. He said, “Bring them here to Me.”
19. Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
20. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.
God is not a God of “Barely Get By”, He never has been...
He’s an over the top, Abundant God, of “Way to Much”
Isn’t it something to, that no matter how many times you hear that story...
it never grows old...that's because it unlocks the ability to believe God for the supernatural in our own lives… Amen??
Especially when we relate an amazing miracle like this one in conjunction with what Jesus said in John 14:12
John 14:12 NKJ
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
While head knowledge is good, when it moves from head knowledge to heart knowledge, that’s when it becomes real and ever present, in our lives!
When you realize everything He did and He was about, was for you…
That's when you enter in to the peace that passes understanding…
When you rely on His ability instead of your own..that's when the peace comes
It becomes automatic
*you don’t have to look for it
*you don’t need to muster it up
*it becomes real to you and relevant, available on demand
And still it makes you wonder why so many Christians, are speaking so many words, with so little benefit.
Its time believers started to use the authority God has given them, to speak good things over their lives..
Their families lives...
Their friends lives...
Their co workers lives...
And everyone they come in contact with.. Amen??
2 Cor. 4:13-18 MSG.
13-15. We're not keeping this quiet, not on your life. Just like the psalmist who wrote, "I believed it, so I said it," we say what we believe. And what we believe is that the One who raised up the Master Jesus will just as certainly raise us up with you, alive. Every detail works to your advantage and to God's glory: more and more grace, more and more people, more and more praise!
Christians this morning listen up.. this is for you…
When you Believe...Every detail… Every advantage…
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and well working in you… Bringing more grace..more power..more people and more praise...you can't help but want to share it!
16-18. So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.
It doesn't matter our circumstances…
It doesn't matter the way things may seem to be...
God has a plan, and he is working his plan...
God is making a new life and not a day goes by..
That His grace is not busy working in our lives trying to bring each plan to fruition, each and everyday....
Prov. 18:20-21 Msg.
20. Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest.
21. Words kill, words give life; they're either poison or fruit— you choose.
Our text said “if anyone says to this mountain”, but Anyone is not just anyone,
anyone refers to someone who knows Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Maybe no one ever stressed this enough to you...But The moment you were saved...
you became a believer…
you became that anyone...
You became someone able to speak to your mountain..with authority!
And not only speak, but to expect God to deliver the end result your looking for!! Amen??
God’s word states that this is something were entitled to...
The world we live in loves entitlements doesn't it??
makes you wonder why more of God’s Children don’t participate.
We may not understand it…
The good news is we don't need to understand it…
The only thing we need to do is to wipe away all the UNBELIEF...
and just believe that it is all possible...and with God
there's not one thing that's impossible!! Amen??
God’s word is true, God’s word accomplishes what it sets out to do and God’s word never returns void!
Is. 55:8-11 NKJ.
8. “ For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
9. “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10. “ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
When you speak the word of God over your life and the ones around you,
you are tapping into the Greatest Power Source ever known to mankind,
Speak to your mountain, don’t spend all your time trying to run around it, proclaim the word of God over it and get ready to watch Him make a way right thru it. Amen!
Mark 11:21-25 MSG.
22-25. Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, 'Go jump in the lake'—no shuffling or shilly-shallying— and it's as good as done. That's why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you'll get God's everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive— only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins."
You’ll get God’s everything, Hallelujah!
Everything you ask?? That's what the word says Everything!
When you finally and truly realize, what this is talking about,
that which is available to all of us who have accepted Jesus and the Grace message He gave us,
It is a life changing, game changing, turn your world upside down, inside out experience!
The same power that brought down the walls of the heavily fortified city of Jericho with the blast of a trumpet and a shout, you have access to. Praise God!
*The same power that parted the red sea,
*that helped bring down Goliath,
*that not just created, but spoke the world into being,
*that raised JESUS from the dead....
You have access to that power!! Praise God!!
If that, DON’T MAKE YOU WANT TO SHOUT, then nothing ever will.
Wont you give God praise and a shout this morning...
and tell Him that you love Him!!
We serve a good God who is worthy of all our praise!
So many Christians never really realize how they can put the Word of God to work in their lives,
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, with God’s help and He wants you to know, that you are in charge of your circumstances,
So take charge....
Start speaking good things over your life...
start seeing yourself the way that God sees you.
He sees you as confident and successful and victorious...
He sees you as the head and not the tail in all circumstances!!
He knows that you have what it takes to do it...because
He’s already given it to you...He’s made you an heir to His Throne.
God always wants the best for you, He wants you to be the person, He’s always wanted you to be.
No matter what your need is today, God can meet it and exceed it for you!

19. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Trust and believe that he can… And enter into His rest
and His peace that passes all understanding

The Oyster
There once was an oyster whose story I tell,
Who found that sand had got under his shell;
Just one little grain, but it gave him much pain,
For oysters have feelings although they’re so plain.
Now, did he berate the working of Fate
Which had led him to such a deplorable state?
Did he curse out the Government, call for an election?
No; as he lay on the shelf, he said to himself,
“If I cannot remove it, I’ll try to improve it.”
So the years rolled by as the years always do,

What couldn’t we do if we’d only begin
