The sermons that I have listed are 30 to 40 minute sermons. I have only listed the points and a couple of comments under each point of each sermon to give the preacher a remembrance which the Holy Spirit can lead on and speak through the man of God.
Sunday Morning Manna / "What will you do with the King of Glory"
Matthew 27:22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
There is an old saying that we live and die by the choices we make. In Proverbs 18:21 states "the tongue has the power of life and death," When I understand this, I will be careful in what I say, and in which direction I choose to go in my life. Each choice I make will have consequences either good or bad because God gives me the free will to choose on my own.
First, we see every human living on this earth is given a choice on where they will spend eternity.
God doesn't send anybody anywhere, all He does is open the gate to the path we choose. God does put in place the consequences for the choices we do make, and He does shows us the results of the choices we make in His Word the Bible.
Second, God makes it a personal choice.
Every individual will be faced with the question what will you do with Jesus, This is a personal choice because no one can choose for you, but there are many that will try to influence you both good and bad. We must keep in mind the importance of this personal choice because it determines where we will spend the rest of eternity. We are all faced with two choices to serve Jesus or Satan, there is nothing in between the choices.
Third, we must understand the deity of Jesus.
Jesus is God, the Son of God and He has the keys to heaven and hell. Jesus requires me to have faith in Him, and confess my sins, and asking for forgiveness for them. Jesus expects me to confess His name and my choice before all mankind, and stay steadfast in living for Him the rest of my life while here on earth. If I do not do this I must understand that I will die in my sins which means I will live in eternity in hell, again its my choice and its His consequences.
Fourth, we see the worlds response to crucify Jesus.
Jesus stated in Matthew 12:30 "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." Jesus is saying here you have a personal choice to either serve God or serve Satan. If you say I choose neither one of them, or I'm not ready to choose, or I'll wait and see, then you have chosen Satan. The good news is as long as the blood runs warm in your body you still have a chance to choose Jesus and live in eternity in heaven. The bad news is if you die for whatever unexpected reason, in you sleep, massive heart attack, car wreak, shot or stabbed to death without making Jesus the Lord of your life then you my friend will spend eternity in hell lost in your sins. Jesus loves us all, we are all His creation, but if you do not make this life changing choice He will love you all the way to the pit of hell. Remember, it's your choice, it's your call, no one can make this choice, but you while you are still living on earth. Jesus has been given the power to forgive all sins, and the only thing He cannot forgive is you rejecting Him. The writer of the book of Hebrews states in verse 3:1 "While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." Today Jesus is calling all mankind to come and make Him the Lord of your life, and serve Him. I can say from my personal experience that my life is far better with Jesus in my life as my Lord and savior then it was before I knew Jesus. The Apostle Peter knew of the Devil as he stated in 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring Lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." I don't know about you, but when I evaluate each side its pretty obvious whom I have chosen. Have a bless week my friends and remember we share because we care, please share this with your friends that are in need. May the Lord's peace be with you my friends!
