The Spirit of Baal
Baal is identified as the ruler of the demons. Matthew 12:24 (Beelzebub is another name for Baal)
Baal-hamon, one of Baal's names, means "the lord of wealth or abundance." You must war against this spirit to see your inheritance released. Jeremiah 51:44 (Bel in this verse is Baal).
Baal-berith, another of his names, means "the lord of the covenant." The Hebrew word baal actually means "husband" or "marriage." This spirit always attempted to cause Israel to "divorce" or break covenant with God and "marry" or align with him. Consistent with this, in so many ways America has broken covenant with God and married Baal.
Baal is the strongman behind sexual perversion. Homosexuality was and is one of his big strongholds. I believe all of the sexual sin and perversion in America is, to one degree or another, under Baal's orchestration. You will continue to see God expose leaders in the church who aligned themselves with this spirit. Pray for the church to be cleansed and for Baal's hold on America in this area to be broken. Baal always goes after the next generation, trying to cut off the extension of God's covenantal purposes. He is a violent spirit and even required human sacrifice. Abortion is under Baal, as is the "cutting" of today's young generation (1 Kings 18:28), the vampire and gothic movement, and the death culture in general that has so invaded America. Pray against and bind these efforts. Witchcraft and occult spirits in general operate under Baal. So does Jezebel, the spirit that is behind all rebellion.
Nearly all churches have adopted the spirit of Baal. It is critical, dangerous and grave that we know what Baalism is. Today Baalsim has been successfully able to disguise itself so that even the elect of God would be deceived. This false God is held in deception and in secret. It must be exposed as it has nearly destroyed the church, sending many members to hell. Baal was the God of the Canaanites. Baal was called “the God of fertility”. They gave him credit for all reproduction. He was praised for crop production and the weather. This thought was translated into the realm of human reproduction. Public sexual orgies, including Bi-sexual acts where forms of celebration. Loud noises where made at these practices to drown out the noise of unwanted babies, being burned alive. Free sexual acts where causing unwanted children. In order handle this problem they would sacrifice their unwanted children to Baal in worship.
Over the last 50 years there’s been a huge shift within the church. The salvation message has been replaced with positive thinking. Popularity and church growth have become first and knowing Christ and His Word in Obedience is not a priority.
Obeying Christ is how we have the assurance of salvation.
1st John: Chapter 1, 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
Chapter 2, 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
It has been the expression of the church for a good while that believing in Christ will give assurance of salvation. James 2:19-20 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?) This is what Baalism has convinced untold millions of.
The “eth”, KJV, is equivilant to our modern suffix “ing”. Eth or ing is “present progressive” in sense. Eth or ing means doing it now and into the future. Now read again these words outlined in I John. Read again: saith, keepeth, abideth, doeth, purifieth, committeth, transgresseth, sinneth, dwelleth, loveth, hateth, overcometh. Here the truth is out. To be assured that we are Christians and are saved, we must obey God. Are you saying that you are His? Are you continually keeping his word? Are you always abiding in His presence? Are you consistently doing His will? Are you purifying yourself? Are you always trustworthy? Are you constantly sinning? Are you living in His awareness? Do you love at all times? Or hating your friends, family or enemies. Are you winning the battle ?
So what does all of this obedience and assurance of salvation have to do with Baalism? This spirit wants you to obey him and not the Father in Heaven. This spirit of gross sexual perversion seeks to deceive and distribute falsehood. We must repent so as to turn away from sin. Jesus said, “Go and Sin NO More.”
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Baal and Molech Today
Jeremiah 32:34-35 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it. 35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
A man holds his glass in the air and says, “To our wives and our sweethearts”. Then he says, “may they never meet!”
We who are Christians have committed ourselves in a covenant marriage to Jesus. Yet we all live in secret desperation that He might find out about our other sweethearts. You know, the ones we lavish our attention on, the ones we can’t wait to see again, the ones we spend so much money on. What a terrible thing if God found out about them! The weeping prophet from the Old Testament, Jeremiah, announced to Israel that God had indeed found out about their other sweethearts named Baal and Molech!
Baal and Molech:
Through the words of the prophet Jeremiah, Yahweh, our one true God, is telling the people why he is about to send them out and why he is so angry with them. They had turned to Baal and to Molech. Baal would appear as a prefix on a name like Jerubabaal in the book of Judges or Baal Peor as in the book of Exodus or Jezebel, whose father’s name was Ethbaal which means “Baal is alive” or Belezebub, meaning Satan or the Devil, which is actually a form of Baal zebub!
Asherah is the name of the wife of Baal. The Asherah poles were where the idol worship took place. Jezebel’s “groves”. Baal is associated with weather patterns, seasons, and fertility. It was believed that Baal died every winter and then was born every spring. With his birth came the spring harvest. Then he would thrive through summer, age in fall only to die in winter.
It was believed that public, cultic sex would bring his rebirth every spring. Baal worship included female and male prostitutes along with homosexual acts. Baal was worshiped by practicing sexual perversions of all kinds, voyeurism (pornography).
Today the internet is the main alter of Baal worship.
Molech was a fire god who demanded human sacrifice. Moloch had a human shape with a bull’s head. His arms were outstretched and a fire was built where the parents would come to sacrifice their babies: they had to watch without emotion or tear to convince this angry demon god that sacrificing their baby was voluntary. Drums and flutes would be played loudly at the site, to drown out the tortured cries of the babies.
It makes sense that these two gods, Baal and Molech coexist. While having all that sex trying to get Baal to be reborn, your going to have to have babies. The shrine to Molech, there in the valley of Hinnom was the first abortion clinic.
***Today people have sex, have babies, have an abortion.***
In People Magazine there was an article that is as heartbreaking as Molech worship. It talks about the effects of pornography on the internet. They set up a fake account on AOL and YAHOO! Here are their results..… “We clicked a box saying we were 18. Then we went surfing. On web browsers and in chat rooms we were bombarded by sexuality in every form. In a “romance” chat room we were propositioned, and many places had links to sites where anything goes—bestiality, orgies and S&M.” ‘It’s unbelievable, stuff you couldn’t buy in most porn stores.”
Somehow in our world we have managed to combine the worship of Baal and Molech satisfying our sexual appetites at the same time we sacrifice our children. It’s sick and twisted, and these idols must be torn down. We worship Baal and call it Playboy or we worship Molech and call it pro-choice.
Not to mention child molesters moving into neighborhoods with playgrounds and parks. But we worship at the altar of personal choice and watch our children burn in Molech’s outstretched arms. Old heresies never die; they just come back with new names. Today in modern English we spell Baal, MTV, as Rap, Country and Rock artists and their record labels make millions with lyrics that exploit women, glorify violence, drugs drunkenness. ***Some of it is in the church today.***
We can also tell what we worship by our time and money.
We obviously worship television. Born again Christians will spend twenty or more hours a week watching television but say they don’t have time to read their Bible or serve on a ministry team. We clearly worship the sex god. I wish I could say that sexual deviance was a practice only of the secular world but its not. Many in the church are just as guilty of pornography, lust and of extra-marital relations(shacken). You can tell by the way we dress and act, that we worship our own sexual pleasure.
We worship entertainment. The same people who will say they cannot afford to tithe, or financially contribute to the Kingdom, will spend twenty dollars without thinking for a DVD of a movie they’ve already seen or a fancy restaurant or a trip.
We worship youth and beauty. We worship celebrities.
We worship success. We worship money. But the biggest idol of today though, is self. As a culture we are preoccupied with self-indulgences. “I want, I want, I want” The high priest of this self-absorbed sacrament is found only in one place: the mirror.
Adultery… The metaphor throughout Scripture for idolatry is adultery. Can you hear the broken heart of God crying over his wayward wife? Yahweh weeps from heaven over these words—the people have rejected him. He has loved them and cared for them, yet they build altars to others. God is jilted, as a jilted lover--------no one loves us as much as Jesus!
It is sad when love goes bad; especially when someone throws away marital relationships by chasing skirts and hunks.
Molech doesn’t love us. Baal doesn’t love us— They just want gratification and then they leave us to rot.
We know we have other lovers we flirt with. We rendezvous in the darkness around the soft glow of the T. V. or computer screen or in the pagan Temple of The Mall. “Roving Eyes”
We must repent by tearing down those idols and coming home to Christ Jesus our one true LORD and Saviour!
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You don’t belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. You must honor God with your body.
WHEN YOU HAVE SEX WITH SOMEONE, Physically or Mentally (Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.), YOU OPEN THE DOOR TO ALL OF THEIR DEMONS AND THEIR CURSES, YOU BECOME ONE FLESH!
LORD JESUS, FORGIVE ME OF MY SINS, MY SEXUAL SINS! FORGIVE ME FOR WORSHIPING BAAL, FOR GIVING IN TO MY LOWER NATURE AND DISOBEYING YOUR COMMANDMENTS!!
I REPENT OF THESE SINS THIS DAY, LORD! WASH ME AND MAKE ME WHITER THAN SNOW. COME INTO MY HEART AND CHANGE ME LORD! CHANGE MY THINKING! PLACE PURE THOUGHTS INTO MY MIND. HELP ME TO LIVE AS YOU WOULD LIVE, TO LINE MYSELF UP WITH YOU! I SUBMIT TO YOU JESUS TODAY, BODY, SOUL, MIND AND SPIRIT!
I BIND YOU NOW SATAN AND THIS SPIRIT OF BAAL-PEOR, AND I TAKE AUTHORITY OVER IT AND EVERY OTHER DEMON OF WITCHCRAFT, IMPURE THOUGHTS, VULGARITY, DIRTY FILTHY MINDS, TWISTED THINKING, FEAR, ANXIETY, WORRY, SPIRITS OF LUST, AND ANY OTHER SPIRITS. I BIND ALSO THE SPIRIT OF ASHTEROTH AND THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL, THIS CONTROLLING, DOMINATING AND MANIPULATIVE SPIRIT OF WITCHCRAFT! I COMMAND THEM TO GO NOW IN JESUS NAME!
I PUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS AGAINST THESE SPIRITS AT THE ROOT AND I SEAL THEM WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH.... THANK YOU LORD JESUS, FOR HEALING US, FOR FORGIVING US ! FILL US NOW LORD WITH YOUR PURITY, YOUR HOLINESS AND YOUR LOVE, YOUR JOY, YOUR MERCY AND YOUR GRACE… IN JESUS NAME I PRAY....AMAN, AMAN AND AMAN!
