Deuteronomy 29:9 (Amplified Bible)

29:9 Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may deal wisely and prosper in all that you do.

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You have prospered us in everything we do by keeping GOD's WORDS - the LORD JESUS in our hearts.

A. Observe and do GOD's WORDS

"Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them,"

GOD's Promises always has conditions and it's 100% based on Divine effort and not on our selves. This is our part that we observe and be a doer of GOD's WORDS.

Hebrews 13:20-21 (Amplified Bible)

13:20 Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

13:21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Amen (so be it).

The LORD JESUS strengthens and equips us in everything good that we may carry out His will.

1 Peter 5:10 (Amplified Bible)

5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.

It's only ALL because of JESUS we are made righteous and just, and CHRIST will complete this by making us perfect.

B. The LORD JESUS have prospered us in everything we do

"that you may deal wisely and prosper in all that you do."

In our relationship with the LORD JESUS CHRIST, this is GOD's part: That because of JESUS, the LORD JESUS already prospered us in everything we do.

Prosper or "sakal" in Hebrew means:

1. to make or act circumspect and hence intelligent

2. consider, expert, instruct, prosper, (deal) prudent (-ly), (give) skill (-ful), have good success, teach, (have, make to) understand (-ing), wisdom, (be, behave self, consider, make) wise (-ly), guide wittingly

We will have good success. Not all successes are good.

Joshua 1:8 (Amplified Bible)

1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

Unbelievers don't even believe the bible, what they have are bad success, not good success.

Illustration:

A rich man yet unbeliever always goes to his work without fail and try to invite him to go to church. You won't even dare for you automatically know in your mind that he will not go with you. Try it anyways and see what kind of answers you will get from that rich man.

Yes he has success, but his success does not allow him to enjoy the LORD. The point is yes. Good success will prosper you in everything. You have long life, enjoyment of wealth, good success. But the rich man only has money, no enjoyment because he can't stop to enjoy it, and he's always busy.

James 1:11 (Amplified Bible)

1:11 For the sun comes up with a scorching heat and parches the grass; its flower falls off and its beauty fades away. Even so will the rich man wither and die in the midst of his pursuits.

Isaiah 40:6-7 (Amplified Bible)

40:6 A voice says, Cry [prophesy]! And I said, What shall I cry? [The voice answered, Proclaim:] All flesh is as frail as grass, and all that makes it attractive [its kindness, its goodwill, its mercy from God, its glory and comeliness, however good] is transitory, like the flower of the field.

GOD is Good all the time for us because He allows us even to choose what type of success we will have in this life: good or bad. Always go for the good success, and that is keeping GOD's WORDS in your life and do it always be a doer and not hearer only.

James 1:22 (Amplified Bible)

1:22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].
