“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us"
What God is able to do in your life is measured by certain powers that must be at work in you. God is not partial or sentimental, but manifestation of God’s glory is facilitated on the reality of powers.
From the above scriptures, there is nothing God cannot do, even beyond your expectations but what limits or prohibits him in your life is power that is either working or not in you.
1. POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: “But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you”. Acts 1:8.
Jesus knew that the disciples could not do anything except they were endowed with power and not until the day of Pentecost the ministries of the disciples were stagnated because their lives lack content.
And at the fullness of time (Pentecost) they received power and their ministries were commissioned. Power of the Holy Ghost can destroy the yoke of stagnation in the life of a believer just as he did to the disciples.
“No man fulfill destiny without power.”
“For kingdom of God is not in words but in power” I Corinthians 4:20. Even the manifestation of his sonship in you is largely dependent on power.
After God had created Adam and gave him the first assignment of naming all other creatures, Adam remained lifeless to his responsibility until the breath of life that infused power came upon him.
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of live and man became a living soul”. Genesis 2:7.
You too can become a living soul to your responsibility, if this power comes upon you. Power is a platform that expresses the exercise of dominion even in the midst of enemies. When the power of God came upon Moses, he became a god unto Pharaoh, Elijah was a prophet to prophets, the man that called down fire, and killed prophets of Baal’s.
“Thy People shall be willing in the day of thy power” Psalm 110:3.
Your enemies will willingly submit themselves to you when you contact the power. When the disciples were arrested and kept in the prison, the gate of prison opened unto them on its own accord, because of the power of Holy Ghost.
2. THE POWER OF PRAYERS: “And He spake a parable unto them, to this end, that men ought always to pray and not to faint”. Luke 18:1.
The altar of prayer is altar of change, a prayerful Christian is a dangerous one to the kingdom of darkness, not only did Elijah said, it won’t rain in Israel, but he had earlier prayed on his altar. The rain that did not fall was just a manifestation of answered prayers.
“Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are. And he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months”. James 5:17
What devil fear most is the prayer of believer, prayer is a spiritual war fare that changes things in the spirit realm and manifest in the physical. Whatever is your desire can be gotten on the altar of prayer.
“Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, belief that ye receive them” Mark 11: 24.
A praying man can change the scheme of things in the supernatural.
“Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon, and thou Moon in the valley of Ajalon”. Joshua 10:12.
With your prayers, you too can stop certain happenings around you, the prayer of Elijah stopped rained on the entire earth for the space of three and half years.
Jabez prayed and had a change of stories and destiny, prayer changes things. You too can start praying despite any situations you find yourself.
“Then Jonah Prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish’s belly.” Jonah 2:1
Jesus during His earthly ministry prayed times without number, this was why he triumphed despite all odds.
