He would talk for you!
1 Chronicles 18:9”When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the whole army of Hadadezer, king of Zobah, 10 he sent his son Hadoram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him…”
Listen! I’m excited about this! I shared a message on Monday about ‘Cozy talk with God’ where I speak of David’s personal communion with God, after which he does great exploits for God! I would like to take it further today……
Now, when you talk and talk and talk and talk with God until your back, neck and mouth pains, do you think He would not do anything for you? Come on, He would go all out to bless you! That’s exactly what’s happening to David. In the above scripture we read about a king of Hamath who heard about the conquering stories of David and sent his son to bless David and also gave him ‘all sorts of articles of gold, of silver, and of bronze.” Blessings, riches and opportunities would come to you, when you chase God! Do you hear me? Trust God to do to the talking for you; when you talk for yourself it might not be as powerful as God speaking for you! Amen.
Look how God makes the king of Hamath hear about the might and exploits of David and thereby bless him with riches! This is how God would bless you; you would not from where, when and how; nevertheless, the blessings would come to you in His perfect time. This message is coming prophetically to someone out there! You need to hear this today! Stop worrying, stop doubting- trust God with the affairs of your life!
After I resigned from my work with a multinational bank, people did wonder how I would make myself known to the Christian ministry circle and also what was my strategy in ministry. I had just one strategy and that was to sit at His feet! I knew nothing and did not want to do anything on my own. Some urged me to submit my personal details and ministry desire to some of the popular ministries during that time, requesting for opportunities to preach; however, I did nothing of that kind, but stayed calm and still. I wanted God to do the talking for me! He did. After several years of ministry in Tamil Nadu and Bangalore, God relocated us to a new State, Hyderabad and enabled us to start Abide School for the poor kids, Abide Home that functions as day care Home for abandoned children and also Shiloh Revival Church at Hyderabad; we are also engaged further in Media, internet and also hold training camps to make ‘soldiers for Christ.’ Every project was initiated by God and taken forward by Him! Let me give you one example: one particular evening, when a burning desire to conduct ‘three days training camp’ for people interested in ministry started in my heart, the next day I got a call from a young man from Tamil Nadu who said: ’God placed it in my heart to work with you for the camp especially meant for people desiring to serve the Lord!’ Further both of us came up with the title ABIDE that God gave us for this project! Trust Him to run your life, ministry, business and home!
