To show that we only need JESUS in our life here on earth for us to accomplish greater things for Him.

6:21 Then they were quite willing and glad for Him to come into the boat. And now the boat went at once to the land they had steered toward. [And immediately they reached the shore toward which they had been slowly making their way.]
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my Life and my Goal in life, apart from You I am nothing and I can do nothing.

VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Invite JESUS to your life (boat) with willingness and gladness
"Then they were quite willing and glad for Him to come into the boat. And now the boat went at once to the land they had steered toward."
Willingly or "thelo ethelo" in Greek which means:
1. determined
2. choose or prefer
3. be inclined to
4. to delight in, desire, be disposed forward, intend, list, love, mean, please, have rather
Be not men-pleasers but be an audience of one - that is GOD.
Received or "lambano" in Greek which means:
1. to take
2. to get hold of
3. to have offered
4. accept, obtain, receive, hold, catch
Ship, boat or "ploion" in Greek which means: vessel or ship. This signifies your life or purpose in life.
This is SM (Secret Message) for all of us that we need to choose or prefer (willingly) get hold of (received) JESUS in our life or purpose in life (boat/ship). Whatever purpose you have, i.e. to be a good pastor for the LORD's Glory, to be a good teacher for the LORD's Glory, always make sure you take JESUS with you.

3:1 SO THEN, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith].

If the purpose in life of human beings on earth is to serve GOD, then we're not half-way through. Build yourselves on seminars after seminars, take leadership in your church, because that is only the time when we can really serve GOD to the fullest and highest while here on earth. More tragic than death is you have lived 100 years old but you have not served GOD in your lifetime.
B. You will arrive at your destination the fastest

Yes worship is our highest service to GOD, tithes and offerings is our worship, and even our service to GOD is worship.

IX. CONCLUSION:
When we invite JESUS into our boat - meaning our life or purpose in life , we will arrive at our destination the fastest. Our destination is our goal.
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my Life and my Goal in life, apart from You I am nothing and I can do nothing.
