To show that the son will carry on the legacy of the father and the son will rule in place of his father.

Psalms 45:16 (Amplified Bible)
45:16 Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, whom You will make princes in all the land.
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for I was reared in the training, discipline, counsels and admonitions of the LORD JESUS CHRIST by the LORD JESUS.

Sons will replace their fathers
VII. EXPLICATION:
A. Authors: Authorship of many is uncertain, generally attributed to King David.
B. Date written: c. 1440 to 450 B.C. ( From Moses to Ezra)
C. Purpose: 150 songs to praise and worship GOD
D. To whom written: Sometimes to GOD, sometimes to author
E. Main Themes: praise and worship, prayer and praise
VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Instead of the fathers shall be the children
"Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons,"
Fathers or "ab" in Hebrew which means:
1. literally father
2. chief, father, patrimony, principal
Children or "ben" in Hebrew which means:
1. son
2. grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition
Sons will continue the legacy of the fathers. It's very important that the father trains and educates his child. The concept of the world, is that education starts at home with the mother, yeah education starts at church with the father. Read the trainings and education of King Solomon to his sons.
Proverbs 5:7 (Amplified Bible)
5:7 Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs 7:24 (Amplified Bible)
7:24 Listen to me now therefore, O you sons, and be attentive to the words of my mouth.
Proverbs 8:4 (Amplified Bible)
8:4 To you, O men, I call, and my voice is directed to the sons of men.
Proverbs 8:32 (Amplified Bible)
8:32 Now therefore listen to me, O you sons; for blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who keep my ways.
If fathers don't train up their sons, they do this to their own destruction.
Proverbs 19:18 (Amplified Bible)
19:18 Discipline your son while there is hope, but do not [indulge your angry resentments by undue chastisements and] set yourself to his ruin.
B. Children are made princes in all the earth
"whom You will make princes in all the land."
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is our example and model because He's the Beloved Son by the Father always in obedience and subjection to the Father.

3:17 And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My Son, My Beloved, in Whom I delight!
Matthew 17:5 (Amplified Bible)
17:5 While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud [composed of light] overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am [and have always been] delighted. Listen to Him!
Let our fathers here on earth take delight in us because we obey and submit to them.
Primary purpose or duty of the fathers to their sons/children is to rear them in:
a. training
b. discipline
c. counsel
d. admonition of the LORD
AND not fully delegate these to mothers and the father doesn't care and just go abroad to enjoy and escape their responsibilities/duties.
Ephesians 6:4 (Amplified Bible)
6:4 Fathers, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to resentment], but rear them [tenderly] in the training and discipline and the counsel and admonition of the Lord.

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for I was reared in the training, discipline, counsels and admonitions of the LORD JESUS CHRIST by the LORD JESUS.
