What is the meaning of Christmas? Why gifts? We know when Christ was born the Wise men brought gifts; gold, incense and myrrh .It was their way to honor and worship the new born King. The true meaning of Christmas is the true gift come into the world, Christ the Savior. As a gift it is not forced upon us, but it offered and when received it brings joy to the recipient.
Why God's gift?
1. Man needs this gift
2. A child may receive a sweater for Christmas, he may not be excited about it, but it is just what he needed.
3.For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
4. Our sin was taking us to condemnation, but God's gift changed that.
Why God's gift?
1. Because God loved us
2. For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1. The whole world. " For God so loved the world "

What is the gift?
1. Christ
2. He gave His only begotten son
3. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given
4. The gift is the Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace

The Lord gave Himself for us

2. To make us worthy
3. To justify us
God's precious gift is given in a special way
1. It's a gift that was planned
2. It's a gift that was wrapped in flesh
3. It's a gift that was given with love
