Persuade you/God has placed his presence inside you
• You are not merely to survive/Christmas
• change agent every relationship you touch
• Can be a time of year/very frustrating/lot of us.
I love my family/joy’s family/I know you do too.
I know:
• Nobody/family gets on your nerves
• every guest coming through your home/welcomed guest
• No anxiety/stressing buy presents
Just in case:
• At times/dysfunctional relationship represented/this room
• I know it’s not true
• I want to give you gift/morning/gift is perspective.
• I’ve already had/best Christmas so far.
• not because Joy said trade
• Because I see the church growing with …..new members

Presence of God---real/powerful/within you today
• Read/Scripture most difficult job/show it to you the way God showed it to me.
• I get excited/Scripture Text/surface doesn’t stand out
• Powerful if it hits you/will change your Christmas/has mine
• Luke 1:39…birth to a virgin/salvation…
• don’t/problem/got problem/woman getting ready/hurrying
• Luke 1:39-45…ask you a question
When you enter a room a situation ….does it cause people to jump for joy or run for cover that’s all I want to know today.
• The power/your presence/Pray
• Mary walks in the room/Elizabeth’s baby begins to kick
• Need/catch you up if you’re fully aware/context.

Zechariah priest/house Lord burning incense
• Angel Gabriel shows up---team Capt/all/angels
• was one bad angel when he showed up you listened
Spoke to Zechariah…..baby……hard to believe
• Up in years/his wife was barren/Elizabeth/relative/Mary
• Gabriel insisted they going to child.
• Zachariah responded doubt/unbelief
Infuriated Angel because nothing breaks/heart of God even more when people don’t believe His promise
• Zachariah in doubt/Angel says I’ll fix this
• Mute button/Zach’s mouth/not speak until/child is born

Meanwhile Mary gets appearance/same angel
• Angel says/same thing/shows up/quiet comical/fear not
• angel shows up/just going to fear/nothing I can do
• Remember/I can only Imagine/what would I do…..
• I’ll tell you what you would do….

Angel tells Mary you’re going to have a baby too…
• Elizabeth’s baby/prepare the way “John the Baptist”
• isn’t a preparation Mary you/carrying God/flesh
• his name shall be Jesus/He/save His people/their sins
• Emmanuel/God with us------now you’re caught up…
• Mary goes on the distance/How long?.......50-70 miles?
• Mary/Elizabeth/pregnant/great pregnancy test
• angel says it got to be so…no miscalculation
• Both pregnant with promise from God…

First/say to you, I’m going to prepare you for Christmas
• You/going to change people’s lives…listen…
• Everybody/your life/Elizabeth pregnant/possibility of God
• I don’t care how jacked up they are
• how much they get on your last nerves
Bible teaches/every human being
• However fractured/flawed—made/image of living God
• Gen. 1:26 according/His likeness. Everybody you encounter
• Your drunken Uncle Johnny/hardcore friend…
• your totally manipulating mother in law
• Say amen if I’m preaching good/still made/image of God

Elizabeth given promise from an angel
• pregnant/possibility/what God wanted to do
• yet husband/mute cause he can’t believe
• Elizabeth/barren might I suggest the people in your life might be barren
• May be broken cause life has a way of turning your expectations upside down
• dashing your dreams into a million pieces
• Every person in your life and you you/pregnant/possibilities
• Son, daughter/nephew/neice/boss/coworker pregnant with possibilities.

2nd thing let’s not confuse the issue…you’re not the virgin Mary the holy mother of God. Everybody agree….
• Point/God shows up puts possibility in Elizabeth
• Mary shows up/inside/Elizabeth started kicking leap for joy
• Jump for joy. Not/Mary was special/beautiful
• not she said something profound---hello
• But Mary was a carrier of Christ.

I got some gospel news for you.
• Placed/faith/Jesus whether today last week 40 yrs
• You’re a carrier of Christ too
• Matter of fact..set the record straight here
• say out loud don’t make me beg/Say I am/carrier/Christ
Say it like an angel showed up and told you for the first time
• I’m not an angel/going to have to do
• I stand/authority/God’s word. Col. 1:27…
• Christ is in you/hope of Glory try again I am a carrier/Christ
Need to explain that to your neighbor/by their face they don’t understand that tell them you are a carrier of Christ.

You know this phrase we tell people who received Christ…vbs
• We’ll say Jesus came into my heart.
• I know/were trying to say/I think/leaving something/table
• Explain regeneration/salvation…
• yes Jesus comes into your heart
• he doesn’t just camp out/left ventricle/knapsack
• he comes to take over/dominate your heart/fill your life
• HS comes/drowns out all/dread doom
• gives you life/light and you view all things differently
He starts/show up/your thoughts then/words words become action
• He doesn’t just add a room to the back
• Burns/house down pulls out blueprint/rebuilds it.
• That’s what happens when Jesus comes into your life.

You are a carrier of Christ/since you are a carrier of Christ
• Every atmosphere/encounter/season step into
• Ought to change things for the better.
• Every time/get around people the “possibility” is there
Many of you are entering into a situation:
• Dysfunctional drunken office workers at the party and your trying to get off the bottle
• I know nobody in here(we were all born holy)
• Some churches have people/struggle like this others not us..
• Mother in law tells you/never cooked/casserole/good/she did
• well she’s coming over ready or not
Maybe you’re entering environment/completely foreign to you
• There’s power in your presence cause you’re a carrier/Christ
• Don’t misunderstand the preacher this morning
• W/o Christ your nothing you’re a worm you’re a bug God will squash you for your sin.
In Christ:
• you’re really something special/bad to the bone
• you got it going on.
• You’re/walking talking moving living representation/God himself
• Now you have to be aware of your surroundings….

More like a thermostat then a thermometer.
Thermometer/one function/respond/atmosphere
• Reports back/70 room says70/Does nothing/change/fact
Thermostat/set/predetermined temp
• Sends signal/lower/raise/temp.
• All/thermometer does/respond/thermostat regulates
• Do you see where I’m going with this. ..
God didn’t call you to step into situations respond/Christmas
• your uncle’s dysfunction becomes your dysfunction
• son’s/mom’s/coworker’s dysfunction
• didn’t call you/respond/called you/regulate
• Say this out loud don’t hate regulate….
• you know why I’m so excited about this principle
• changes everything for you

Here in church I preach/praise/choir sing this environment is controlled…70 degrees…it’s warm, predictable…safe..
• you leave here/environment you live/full scale blizzard
• you are intended by God to set/atmosphere
According/word/God He’s already told you/temperature/supposed to be
• You/exhibit/fruit of the spirit…
• love/joy/peace/patience/kindness/goodness/gentleness/
• faithfulness/self-control
• This is/temperature/if temperature isn’t joy/peace/patience..
• Guess what?
I’m going/regulate/temperature until determines what the temperature should be when/walk/environment/should be…

• Let’s talk to Jesus about it--Matt. 5:13-16 Here’s/salt/earth
• Don’t have/respond to dysfunction/dragged down negative..
• Divine/raw power/God inside of you/carrier of Christ
Really interesting to me Mary could have walked in the room
• Hey Zachariah I heard you met/Gabriel/he shut your mouth
• so much unbelief/not going to speak until/baby is born
• “John the Baptist” thing is pretty cool but JC..
• But she just walked in the room and said hello. Movie…
• Don’t have/obnoxious/Christmas/make/impact for God.
• All you have to do is show up
• every individual you encounter not going/be like Elizabeth
• Maybe they’re not the best people in the world
Could you say I don’t care what my father in law says….
• Mother in law/say I don’t raise the kids right…
• I’m done being a thermometer.
• I’m a carrier of Christ and all I have to do is show up.
• Every situation you step into should change/glory/God
• You know what you really are? You’re a wake up call.
• Repeat

Don’t have to wait this Christmas/opportunity/impact somebody
• Carrier of Christ as someone/acquainted with Jesus.
• not up there somewhere waiting to come down
• he’s in you right here waiting to get out
• When you step into/situation/glory of God things change.
• not a matter of people bowing on their knees
• Saying holy when you walk in the room.
• Or your head will glow like Moses
• means there’s something inside them invisible/naked eye
• Because of Christ in you there will be a change.

Every relationship in your life…listen…you can’t always see the change….inviting to church…keep coming….finally…
The Bible doesn’t say Mary walked into the room and John the Baptist was born on the spot…no it jumped.
• You see, anything is possible with God
• you being a carrier/Christ have the same impact to others
• Invitation
