If it is of God!
Acts 5:34”……if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!" So they took his advice…”
You know what, when ‘God’ is in anything, then no one can stop/sabotage it! Let this sink into you today! Some lessons have to be repeated ad infinitum! Be it business, relationship, job or anything, if it is of God, nothing can overthrow it. Let it remove the angst and worry from you! Peace!
Just watch the disciples rejoice when all hell is breaking loose in their life! They were beaten, yet they rejoice! They were humiliated, yet they rejoice! The Bible says, ‘they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.’ Can anyone dance in the midst of rubble and trouble? Yes, when you know and you know that eventually God will help you triumph, then you can break into a jig. Amen. Cheer up!
Somehow, I repeat somehow, God would send someone or find a way to bail you out of crisis! The snare of the devil was upon Peter and the apostles, the Bible says, ‘they were enraged and wanted to kill them.’ If not for some divine interference, the situation was dangerous! Look what God did; He stirred the heart of a very influential and highly learned man Gamaliel who was respected by all. None dare refute his counsel. He said, ‘Men of Israel, take care what you are about to do with these men.’ I’m excited as I write this! If God is for you who can be against you? Are you listening? Gamaliel warned them, “if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them.” Glory to Jesus! Give Him praise please! He is worthy! He would come right on time to save you! You are not abandoned! Fear not!
I heard some say, ‘I prayed and fasted, yet the promotion meant for me has gone to someone else’, this can’t happen friend, what God has assigned for you, kept for you and reserved for you – NONE can grab! Did you get that? I write this at a time, when our Shiloh Revival Church, Hyderabad is being blitzed by enemies. The local gentile crowd around the church have risen against us and given a written complaint to the police station. Local goons along with political leaders barged into our church during our service and spewed harsh words at us. The local leader said, ‘seize their instruments and sound system!’ We stood there helpless and speechless! Just around that time, a police officer in their midst said, ‘ we will take a written statement, there is no need to seize their instruments’, with that the crowd left.
If God is for us, who can be against us?
