Conviction of Sin! John 16:8 “When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment.” (HCSB)
A Contrite Spirit! Psalms 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” (NIV)
2) Evaluation: We will see ourselves differently! Isaiah 6:5b “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips,” (NIV)
Two Dimensions of Self-Examination:
Comparisons!
Confession!
Matthew 16:16 “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God!” (HCSB)
3) Intervention: God will provide a remedy for our restoration! Isaiah 6:6 “Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.” (NIV)

Atonement=
God cancels the debt we owe Him!
