Preparation is essential to real worship!
How do we prepare ourselves to worship the Lord:
1. Understand the significance that God places on Worship!
Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.” (NIV)
You were created to Worship. Genesis 1:27, 2:7
Worship is the highest activity of humanity.
In Worship you encounter God. Isaiah 1:12
2 Respect the sacredness of Worship!
Hebrews 12:28-29 “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” (NIV)
