Psalms 147:11 (Amplified Bible)
147:11 The Lord takes pleasure in those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy and loving-kindness.
Psalms 147:11 (New International Version)
147:11 the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You made me a worshipper and a hoper in You.

A. Authors: Authorship of many is uncertain, generally attributed to King David.
B. Date written: c. 1440 to 450 B.C. ( From Moses to Ezra)
C. Purpose: 150 songs to praise and worship GOD
D. To whom written: Sometimes to GOD, sometimes to author
E. Main Themes: praise and worship, prayer and praise
VIII. MAIN BODY:
In the New Testament of grace, we can only please GOD through our faith. (Hebrews 11:6)
Hebrews 11:6 (Amplified Bible)
11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
Because in these two qualities: a worshipper of GOD, and a hoper in GOD needed faith to function.
A. A worshipper - one that fears Him reverently and worshipfully
"The Lord takes pleasure in those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him,"
Pleasure or "ratsah" in Hebrew meaning:
1. to be pleased with
2. acceptable, accomplish, set affection, approve, consent with, delight
3. enjoy, reconcile self, observe, pardon, pleasure
Before the word "them" it has the signature of the ALPHA and OMEGA that is the LORD JESUS CHRIST - ALEPH-TAV, meaning GOD is pleased with people that has a mark of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Born again is both a worshipper and a hoper in GOD.

147:11 The LORD taketh pleasure in {ALEPH-TAV} them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
Fear or "yare" in Hebrew meaning:
1. fearing
2. morally reverent

The born again believer or born again CHRISTian has two names namely Beulah (to be master) in which the LORD JESUS is our Master and Hephzibah (my delight) in which we are the LORD's delight.

62:4 You [Judah] shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land be called Desolate any more. But you shall be called Hephzibah [My delight is in her], and your land be called Beulah [married]; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married [owned and protected by the Lord].
B. A hoper - one that hopes in GOD's mercy and loving-kindness
"in those who hope in His mercy and loving-kindness."

The people of this world are hopeless because they hope in what is not hope, our hope can only be found in JESUS.
